More than 7 months after AC7's release, I'm seriously bothered by the fact that everyone loves Daredevil and the Arsenal Bird fight when, as far as I'm concerned, it's the first half of this mission that's the best one, both music- and gameplay-wise. Not saying Daredevil is bad, far from it, but I just find Lighthouse, and the corresponding in-game furball, to be SO much better!

it's raw Ace Combat. no fancy bosses, no tunnel runs, no crazy air defence, no defence objectives, no insane submarines, just you, your plane, and the bogeys. not that any of those things are bad, but it allows us players to feel the game flex it's muscles, to feel how the AI, the physics engine, and the graphics mesh together to make an intense but exhilarating experience. WE are the king of the sky now, it is OUR domain, and this mission does a great job of making us feel that.
