I'm Muslim and from what i know god in Quraan god did talk about Sodomites and what happen to them but didn't really say being gay is haram (forbidden) as for polygamy god said you could marry 4 if you could be fair to them and you never could so i guess people took from it what they want it , as they usually do i mean in Islam god forbid drinking and sex before marriage but lots of Muslims choose to ignore that

I don't believe any religious text has it written that homosexuality is 'forbidden'. I think it's just misinterpretation or perhaps even people's own belief. Like the multiple marriage or polygamy. I hardly think any religion says 'Marry multiple times! God accepts it and it doesn't demean anyone at all!'

I am a muslim and in our religion it is forbidden to be gay A man who is gay is seen as a disgrace in our religion It also says that God will not forgive him and he comes to hell. Being gay, is unforgivable But I am not like that I have a friend who is gay her parents threw him out cause he is gay. I am from Turkey and there was serie/soap there it was the first time ever that gay couple was shown on TV the next day it the serie was never shown again. (sorry for bad english)
