This is only a secret boss and extra dungeon, its not required for the story, so it could easily be non canon.

Ray Michael Dude....Ereshkigal, yes looks like a Cie'th, but isn't one. We all know Cie'th when we see one. Ereshkigal is in fact God's most powerful creation. He pitted many beast against one another to create Ereshkigal which is a being close to himself. It is hinted that it is there to replace humanity when they no longer meet Bhunivelze's standards. Yes it looks like a Cie'th, but if you're scared of Cie'th.......why are you playing? Let alone watching videos....Plus....it isnt a Cie'th since it wasn't a L'cie beforehand. There is no visible face nor brand. So stahp.

Lyze Zukiel Actually, it was originally intended to be a Cie'th. Ereshkigal is dummied content in the original FFXIII but was never used until Lightning Returns. That's why it resembles a Cie'th so much. Also God created the Fal'Cie who in return can make Cie'th, so who's to say God's most powerful creation can't be a Cie'th he made. He is god lol

The guy's HP is in the 20000 range. His stats are ridiculously high at that point. With stats that high, he easily defeats Ereshkigal without items or EP.

no its not even that my stats are nowhere near his and i still hit that thing 300k-450k damage. Don't you see what he is doing? I can't believe i didn't even notice it before. Slow Debuff is saving him lots of time and trouble dealing with those overpowered moves this boss has. As the battle drags on this boss gets more and more irritating I used deprotect and poison when all i had to do was slow him and poison him. MasterLL ur awesome bro keep up the good vids

+Tara Croft You have to beat Ereshkigal on a previous playthrough, Ereshkigal drops it. Aeronite also drops Disaster and I think the Dragoon Scarf (Falcon Charm).

Forsaken tie. Kill all the archangels in the final day and the last one will drop the item. It expands the window of time that you need to perform a perfect move.

***** hi dude, i got the same setup exept the accessories for martial monk (1rst new game+ in hard). I don't have poison or slow either, i dropped them like an idiot... This monster got 34 million hp and i d'ont kill it as fast as you, even using EP and items...I don't understand why?

2 whirlwind kicks just put punt on you can have 4, same as 1st class grab with slayer all the heavy slashs will be come slayer, and it nothing to do with hp 20000 is nothing it all about what items you have on what grabs and all that

The people who actually played lightning return and ff 13-2 loved it, If we are talking about the FF 13, then yeah, there are a lot of people who outright hate it. LR is like your usual FF game except its harder, and majority of the complaints are the game being so hard lol, even most guides say it is recommended to play it on easy first. Even if there are people who hate it, it's either because the game is hard, or because these players feels forced to play LR due to how FF 13-2 ended their game. Players who hate FF 13 wont even play FF 13-2 and LR anyway lol.

singyist Because it helps people beat the boss, my strategy normally gets him down to half health and at that point I've run out of healing and phoenix wings so yeah obviously I want to know a superior way to kill him

the trick is you kill him with poison not attacks.keeping him poisoned is priority #1
