I finished this on easy and killed the bonus bosses but don't have the nerves to try hard. I was shocked by how much I enjoyed this game with the negative reviews and the time limit idea.

OwtDaftUK Aw, with a little bit of grinding and the right setup it's possible if you want a challenge. The only real big difference betweens difficulties is the enemies HP. Playing on Harder difficulties also gets you higher level abilities and more money (I think). I try not to listen to reviews too much, reviewers only play the games for an hour or so and judge it off of that and the first hour or so of this game is just the tutorial. lol

I totally agree with you u guyz this game was a wonderful experience and reviewers are just idiots for me i mean who can properly judge something by just spending one hour or so on it and good thing i have 200+ hours on this game.

For Those who need to unlock the secret Dungeon its about to reach 1,00 point by the addition of each quest u complete i mean if u complete a quest of 1 star then u get 0,02 if u complete 2 star quest its about 0,04 3 star 0,06 or 0,08 cant remember lol

Yup, you have to reach 100 Eradia from doing sidequests, 1 star quests are 2 points, 2 star quests are 4 points and 3 star quests are 8 points towards the total 100 Eradia that you need. Doing over 40 Side quests should definitely give you enough to unlock the 14th day...

Good way to find sidequests is by talking to characters that have the stars over their heads, those are the ones who give you side quests if you're having trouble looking for some, it's also a good idea to head back to places after you defeat the boss for that area because there's a bunch of sidequests that only appear after they're defeated and some sidequests only appear at certain times of day so try to search each area at different times of day.

This battle is so easy on hard mode. I killed it in 3:39 minutes.. The garbs and equipment that I used were: Midnight Mauve Chaos's Revenge/Ghostly Bloom Fira/Guard/Defaightga/Debravega Guardian Corps Blazefire Saber/Guardian Corps Shield Blizarra/Guard/Galestrike/Thundara Soldier 1st Class Buster Sword/Soldier's Band Heavy Slash/Slow/Imperil/Poison EP used: 6 Items used: 3- X-Potion/Ether/Phoenix Wing "Not trying to show off or anything, just showing how easy this battle actually is.."

+ricardoshark18 can i ask you a thing a bit... how many times you have to start new game (for upgrading and getting the accessories [ like preta Hood ++ to Preta Crown]) so you can be ready to fight eresh and also Bhunivelze+ ??

+Ferry Fernandus your first game should be on normal mode and the new game+ should be on hard mode, remember to exterminate monsters and upgrade your equipment and abilities. If done correctly by your 3rd game or in this case New Game++ you'll be OP.. When you start playing on new game+ that's when your accessories get upgraded.. If you can't defeat Bhunivelze on Hard Mode then simply use the "Crystal of Atonement" for a new game+

my Weapon power is at least 5000 on SoP (Masamune, Crimson Blitz, Warrior Band+, Diamond Mantine (still can't defeat either Aeronite nor Eresh for the second time :'( ) the skill on SoP, heavu slash Lv 5, Attack Lv 5, then Heavy Guard Lv * then for the magic i use Ultimatus (or from FF X Yuna's Garb (ultimatus from normal mode) with almost like ultima weapon (but i maxed the Magic to 2.5K then Summoner Shield, Sorcerer's Token and also Forsaken Tie) Skill Elementa Lv 4, Flamesparka, Icestorma, Passive ability from garb for the Defense i got Quiet Guardian (or Cyber Jumpsuit) equipped Chaos Revenge, Aegis Shield, Preta Hood (Ghostly Crown for Physical type enemy) and anti fog for Aeronite, anti deshell for Eresh. Skill heavy Guard lv *, Deprotect max, imperil max and passive but still im so squishy and easily got wrecked thats why i was thinking... how the hell i have to polish myself to kill BH+ i was thinking about Martial Munk Garb too... but in my current power level it wont do any shit i think...

I just beat this guy yesterday on hard mode and it was my first time fighting him. I actually didn't know there were optional bosses in this game during my first playthrough on normal mode so I decided to fight them on my second playthrough on hard mode. I tried to follow a guide that said to use a combination of light slash, aero, and aerora to stay in the air to avoid grand impulse and at the same time build up the stagger wave. Unfortunately I accidentally discarded my only two aero spells and didn't have enough time left on the clock to go and get another one. So I tried to make do with just light slash and aerora but I wasn't getting anywhere with that. I got fed up and decided to look at a video of someone beating him on hard mode using a different strategy and that's how I came to your video. As soon as I saw you stagger him by spamming those spells I knew I had a chance. I had already used the ruin/aerora combo to stagger aeronite so I just applied that to this fight and that was all it took. In my opinion aeronite is harder than ereshkigal. It took me a few days to beat aeronite but I took on the ultimate lair and beat ereshkigal in one day. I did use a guide to help though. Next I'm going to be taking on bhunivelze+.

There's certain shields, weapons and accessories that increase ATB speed. I always choose those over the rest that give more HP, more strength, etc. It's more important.

Oh and the Equilibrium+ garb increases the ATB recovery speed by a lot when you're using it...

+Ferry Fernandus then you are underpowered.. you need to do A LOT of side quests, and when I say A LOT I mean at least like 60.. regarding this battle you can kill this boss on your first playtrough if you have the right equipment, accessories and abilities.. just make sure to do a lot of the side quests..

This was on my first hard mode playthrough so my 2nd actual run of the game. It's a lot easier if you destroy most of the Last Ones before you enter this dungeon. It's probably a bit time consuming to destroy all of the enemies but you get abilities and stuff that helps. Doing it on Hard Mode gives Lv4-5 abilities which do more damage as well.

+Ferry Fernandus yeah then you'll probably want to fight a lot of the Last Ones on the days before you enter this dungeon so there won't be as many in your path on the way to the boss.

+Ferry Fernandus it shouldn't take many playthroughs to get strong enough. If you plan out your 13 days right and get as much done as possible you should be good.

Haha thanks =) Hmm, this was a while back so I can't really say my exact stats but it was my second playthrough and I did most of the side quests both times. The Schemas are Equlibrium+ & Knight of Etro. The other one I forgot the name but it comes with a Lv.5 Thundaga spell and I bought it from Yusnaan, around day 9 on Hard Mode for 200,000.

I usually just go with one class with Physical attack very high, one with Magic Attack very high and the last one for Defense and/or Staggering

PuertoRicanNinja thanks! that was very helpful. for me, i have one for physical str, one for defending and staggering, and one for staggering w/ magic. tbh, i beat ereshkigal with one try, but I had to use so many phoenix wings. do u know how to avoid this and better guard meteor (it ignores defense right). last thing: what do u recommend is the best setup overall?

musicmaniack256 I think if u beat him quickly then you won't have to worry about the Meteor attack too much. I didn't play this boss too many times to really figure out most of his attacks but the Meteor takes a long time to cast.

musicmaniack256 And what do u mean? Best Setup for just this boss or for the whole game? If you have a lot of high level abilities (Lv.5+), Knight of Etro & Guardian Corps can potentially be the best garbs. Element, Elementa are the best magic spells for staggering and doin a lot of damage, especially when paired with Imperil.

You have to complete a LOT of quests (main + side quests, plus as many of the "canvas of prayers" quests as possible). Then you need to make sure you can take on the Last Ones; they're super-buffed from their original counterparts. Also see if you can defeat Aeronite - if you can beat him easily, you're pretty much good to go for Ereshkigal. Just make sure to stock up on recovery items before the fight if possible, as some of his attacks are guaranteed 1HKOs no matter what you do (like the dreaded Super Nova), and you need to be able to revive quite a bit during the fight.

Most common way is to get one from killing the Gorgonsopids (or whatever they're called). They're the wolf/dog like monsters that appear in the desert and sometimes in the church town. Sorry it's been a while since I played this game but I'm certain that's where you can get it.

Basoene Douglas There's really no need to get mad dude, if you have a question just ask it and I'll help you out. I did this on my first attempt and it isn't that difficult compared to Aeronite so the schemata's don't really matter as much as the abilities that you're using. Having a good physical schemata and a good magic schemata along with poison on it or on another defense oriented schemata should do the trick. The 3 garbs I used were Equilibrium+ (Get on Day 13), Crimson Bloom (Bought from Yusnaan's Outfitters on Hard Mode), and Knight of Etro (Get for Having a FF XIII-2 save file) but there's better garbs you can use.

Barthandelus was an Fal'Cie and was defeated with Orphan, the rest of the Fal'Cie died off except the one in Yusnaan
