Once again, I knew I could rely on your skills and video. Thanks to your tips I have beaten Erishkigal or however you spell his name and now Aeronite as well. Thanks again for another great video and the assistance. :)

I made my own setup. But i used Artemis arrows and whirlwind kick. I put one stronger punt in and used an equipment that made my perfect timings Easy. Then i had Quiet Guardian with magic immunity, Imperil, Max level Heroic guard for megaton break. Had aerora. Soldier of peace with deprotect, Fira, Heavy slash. Whirlwind kick with thundara and one strong punt. I used chaos revenge on Whirlwind kick and a strengh Shield. Same with soldier of peace but max level crimson blade, have max strenght out on it. On quiet Guardian you can have a pretty weak shield. Since Heroic guard will do the job, have a shield that boosts your atb rate. After the final stagger. Use a bravery potion and overclock with artemis arrows to reset atb gauge. Then get deprotect in and spam artemis arrows, when you have no atb left. Switch to whirlwind kick, Then artemis arrows. Tips: Use imperil to stagger aeronite faster. Whenever aeronite lifts his head and is about to use a magnet spell, switch to quiet Guardian to defend then cast aerora. If you have no ep in the final stagger, Use a refresher. Dont spam whirlwind kick to fast, press 2 Times per Second to increase the damage done by it. Keep your distance from aeronite so his physical attacks or roar dont reach. Use a fog resistence accesory. When you cast your tier 2 spells. Switch a paragidm before lighting does a backflip, this give aeronite less time to recover. You can hovewer do a backflip with aerora if aeronite attacks at the same time. Aeronite can still attack while he is staggered so switch to quiet Guardian if needed. Hope this helped! My strat worked way better than this strategy. Btw i did this in hard mode.

May I ask you a question: How would you rank Aeronite and Erskhigal difficulty compared to other FF suerbosses, especially the ones from 13-2 (Gilgamesh, Valfodr). I beated Lighting Returns a few years ago but skipped those 2 and now i wonder is it worth starting a new playthrough just to finish my business with them.

This was easy mode, i tried on hard mode (NG+) and it's ridiculous it has 33 million HP.

For some reason I couldn't nail him with Artemis's Arrows, but I succeeded in keeping my distance and dealing some heavy damage with the Summoner garb's Elemental spell. Wiped him out so cleanly.

Don't forget that the more items and EP (Overclock, Esunada, etc.) will severely decrease your battle score. There's a rhythm you have to get into that makes this fight not as bad. I tried him on Easy and Normal and got a 0 star both times but 5 stars on hard. :-/ Just practice in the Ark a few times.

i think this fight might have been rated differently from normal bos fights, your ratings depends on how much OC you use and how much recovery or Ether you use. coz i manged to kill it in a short time on hard but burnt alot of Turbo ether and got no stars, and because each time u stagger him Aeronites timer resets so if u man beat him within 11mins or so then u would get a 5 star rating which the game dev team might have thought it be too easy so they might have tweeked the rate system for this fight alittle to make it harder coz if u stock alot of turbo ether this boss fight will just be easy. so if u want 5 stars u need to do it the hard way....well thats my theory anyway.

You can only do it on hard mode. It'll give you a tutorial on how to do it once you start up a game on hard mode.

Can you? I played on easy & then went to normal mode on ng+ and still couldn't upgrade any weapons or shields. It was only until my third play through on hard mode that I could upgrade anything. Something I missed on my first ng+?

I didn't go through hard mode. I played in easy and new game+ to normal. I was able to upgrade my shields and weapons

his soldier of piece garb has around 4k damage so his set up was near the cap of 5k and when 4th stagger happens the damage u do to him will be amplified by 500% which can be further increased by as its shown in the vid some potions and maybe deprotect if u want to be safe. but u dont need it really especially on easy or normal.

his weapon on tht Garb been upgraded with 2200 attk, shield with extra 250 atk plus Fighter's Emblem +20% attck and Lightnings base attck power that would easily make 4k.

It probably is a New game + all your items are transferred to NG+ so that's probably how, and I'm pretty sure you don't need to do any quests either, also he was playing on easy mode

after 140 hours in this game aeronite is my bitch on hard mode. Best way to farm gil is go to day 7 farm the cactuars and then kill aeronite for easy 1 mil gill every time then reset the game

Kaotic Cloud and cant seem to dps him down fast enough you need the martial monk garb with a max lvl punt that drops from one of the monster that should be your dps class because if you perfect atk with the punt it will deal 999999k every time and punt is 5 ap each time. so if you get good at perfect atks aeronite becomes a little bitch

This is definitely a good starting strategy (I've seen pros do this in seconds, but that takes SO much prep work, not for the entry level player, so this is a good video) and I'll probably end up using something like it. Also Aeronite is pretty much not designed to be done on a first playthrough, so I'm with Leila on this one: I really doubt you managed to get decent enough weapons on Hard Mode (because you can't play hard mode on your first playthrough), that you would get this far on HM on a first playthrough (my previous bracketed point) and that you would stand a chance at killing one of the game's two superbosses on your first playthrough. Don't go putting people down with lies. It's petty.

Keep replaying NewGame+, once your saved game record time has 150+ hours then you should be able to beat this is normal mode. Keep defeating monsters and main quests' bosses will grant you great grab+ and weapons+. By keep playing the NewGame+ again and again, you will also achieve a higher HP, strength and Magic level.
