The title of this video is a bit misleading. I came here expecting to watch one thing and discovered it was something different. This looks to be the retrospective "behind the scenes" special bonus feature stuff that Shout! Factory filmed exclusively for their Blu-ray release of MMPR: The Movie. The actual MMPR: The Movie - Secrets Revealed was a "behind the scenes" TV special that was filmed concurrently with the filming of MMPR: The Movie and aired on TV in 1995 alongside the MMPR Trouble music video by Shampoo to promote the theatrical release of MMPR: The Movie. Both the Shout! Blu-ray bonus stuff in the video above and the Secrets Revealed TV special are similar in that they give a "behind the scene" look into the creation of MMPR: The Movie, but they aren't the same thing.
Totally did !!! I'm soooo glad that i brought the movie again , so mega awesome!!!

The hype leading up to the release of this movie was unreal in 95. Not only did McDonald's have the toys, but fox aired a behind the scenes show that was like 30 mins or an hour showing the making, and interviewing the rangers during primetime hours. Even to this day in 2021 this movie is still better than the most current Power Rangers movie. It's still a fun watch.

I really liked the rangers costume designs for the movie. I know Tommy's green ranger powers were destroyed but it would've been neat to see the green ranger suit done the same way. I wished they sound editors kept the swinging, whooshing sounds as the series had. It's just unique.

I loved how campy MMPR was. Kind of like the 1960’s Batman series.

Loved this movie, I had always wanted to see the cast and the costumes. The special effects were really great and the scenery was really great, they pulled it off really good. I loved the makeup and the costumes. The lady that played Rita's wasn't as good as the original but whoever Lord Zedd was the same actor The movie stars have great talent and voices

I’ve always wanted to see what the green Ranger would’ve looked like. Instead of just the white Ranger in the movie. Someone should have added a green Ranger with 7 rangers just been added just for the movie since they didn’t use the footage from the Japanese footages. Someone like Jason as the green Ranger, a new ranger named Francis, or Barry, or Peter or David, or Matt. Where the Green Ranger would have stayed on earth to keep an eye on Angel Grove while the others went to get the great power.

I was 3 when the movie came out. Parents bought the tape for my brother and me. The frog scene bummed me out since Adam was my favorite and everyone else got cool animals. Mom loved the frog scene since Adam got words of encouragement and even a kiss. It wasn't until my dad rented Hong Kong cinema from blockbuster and I saw what the toad style can do I started to believe frogs were amazing.

Up to now I still love Power Rangers I’ve watched the show over and over and off course I loved the movie. I’m still surprised I never broke any of my bones imitating their movements jumping from the kitchen table or the bed pretending to be one of them.

The armored suits should've been a Power-Ups w/ the actors & stunt doubles working in the regular spandex suits and regular helmets from the TV series.

That’s how Hollywood, productions and studios treated actors, resulting in 3 out of 6 walking out then being replaced - this had an effect on the 1995 movie upon release because people didn’t expect replacements. It didn’t feel the same although the new actors and character were good. Jason was really missed in the movie. Season 3 had already began filming and was four months into filming when the movie was in production which meant none of us had a clue we were getting new actors. So after two huge years in 93/94 of the tv series the studio only gave a 20m budget which wasn’t enough - which showed in the film. The director had to do his best (with limited resources) which is why the movie was a let down overall. They wouldn’t extend the budget when thought they knew it would make millions!! That’s how toxic the studio was then! That’s Hollywood! Chew you and spit you. You can tell how they still feel even to this day when Amy Jo doesn’t even give her version or appear in these documentaries. It’s really sad. I recall very well then being about 8 or 9 in 96 which was a year or so after the franchise really took off because in England we got one episode a week and had to wait longer than Americans for new episodes. Yet it was still huge !! Toys suits hype etc. kids playing at school, nothing appeared cheesy as a kid. But, my god was it cheesy and poorly shot lol and executed. The movie fight scenes especially. Real fans didn’t care because they just wanted to see most of the rangers in action on the big screen. Kimberley with her hot legs out all the time, Tommy with his fantastic presence, billy… at least we got to see those in the movie. Nowadays though different story. Amy doesn’t do power rangers interviews, the white ranger is dead, so is the yellow ranger… the other case are older and struggling. It’s really sad how fast life changes in a matter of decades! But special times for us all in the mid 90s.
