Lightsmith Holy Pally is WAY Better Now!

I was so hyped when I saw Lightsmith. As I want to create a Forge Cleric in D&D, this was the perfect fit. The moment everyone jumped on the Herald train I was like yes, Lightsmith will be the underdog :D Now its looking even better, which is good in one way, but now I feel like FOTM if its the meta :D I chose fantasy over meta at the start :D

Those numbers have to be lower, for sure. But at the same time, if a tank can out-heal a healer, a healer should be able to out-dps the dps sometimes.

Great content again ! Question for you Zuco, does the sacred weapons given to your allies by wings or randomly (by the hero talent) are also given to us (solidarity talent in the hero tree) ?

I have not had the chance to test anything in dungeons yet. Now that you have done lots of testing with HPal, enough to say that you think it is doing really well, do you think the spec is fine as it is? Or do you still feel like it needs some attention before launch? I'm also curious how you feel infusion procs fit into this more melee based playstyle considering the huge buff to holy light. Are we back to ignoring procs? Or do you still try to use them?

H pally is looking really solid as far as I'm concerned... Infusion also buffs out Judgement casts, (on top of Holy Light and Flash of Light)... It makes our Judgements block more incoming damage the next time the enemy attacks. So there's always value in the Infusion buff regardless of build.

Well as a melee healer I think dps should be higher to almost compete with dps just enough to hold your own both pve/pvp but not be over tuned to the point you’re topping meters as a healer

This looks really fun. Playing an avenging crusader build with lightsmith will hopefully be viable. I love melee style and buffing my allies!

Zuco, please can you do me a favour and check to see if Light of Dawn puts Dawnlight on everyone it hits. If so does Lingering Radiance leave Eternal Flames on everyone after the DLs expire? Then see if DLs stacks with Second Sunrise and Gleaming Rays if doing back to back LoDs. Also does it then all stack Haste with Solar Grace and if so how much Haste can you stack with it? I've not seem many people use LoD due to its poor output but maybe its purpose is to spread Eternal Flames on everyone without having to put them on manually??? Cheers.

Unfortunately no... Casting LoD only applies 1 Danwlight per cast. You do leave an Eternal Flame on that target. You only get one stack of the haste buff as well... If you got 5 Dawnlights per cast of LoD, it would be 900% broken..

Yeah 1 mage 3 prot pallys and a holy pally....all put sacred swords on the mage gg. Or god comp all over again shadow priest, fire mage, aug and holy pally and prot pally putting sacred weapons on the mage with pi and aug....boom mic drop

I have to be honest, Blizzard seems to actively trying to ruin this expac as much as possible so I can’t see this lasting. For now, this is the only spec I even feel like playing. Going Melee Wings with lightsmith to buff everyone, and then using casts during non-wings time
