Rocket op here, was nice talking to you. Congrats on beating the KMG restraints curse of them being very strict. I will say that last year Frightwater was fantastic, and I'm hoping it's the same this year. The vlog was great, keep it up!

The wave was a zamperla mate, it was sold to some park down south which has since shut, I believe this season it’s been relocated to blackgangshine. Great trip report, went earlier in the year, rocket coaster is surprising smooth! The park needs big investment and sort out tho so much decay all around. The bottom of the park where ultimate and rat used to be need urgent attention. Ideally would love to see the rat warehouse reused for a new coaster, so sad to see the rat and ultimate remains just sat there rotting away.

i went to Lightwater Valley in the early 80s there were good rides i liked Fort William and the Railway the steam Train was Blue Rio Grande the Rio Grande steam Train in your video i think it was a ex Flamingoland one Good Memories😊

Really enjoyed the video, my son used to enjoy Lightwater, It woulld be really nice if they brought back the Falcoln displays, its such a lovely setting, good to see some investment going in, hopfully they can build the park back up again, it was the previous owners who did all the damage by selling off the thrill rides and running down the Ultimate. They are trying very hard by doing lots of events. Lets hope the park makes a good enough profit this year to invest some more. I know they have plans to build glamping tents, it says so on the FAQ.. Its good to see Theo enjoying himself.

Glad you finally got on Eagles Claw mate, was it comfortable? Went in May this year with my 6 year old she isn't a thrill seeker so unfortunately didn't get to go on The Rocket. However it's an hour away from us and it's better value for us because of the ride selection available. Along with the entertainment that she loves and the little extras like free face painting for £20 entry it's really good value for us. Fingers crossed they keep investing in the park as its definitely a step in the right direction for it's demographic. Great vlog 👍

They should never have got ride of The Ultimate! It was still perfect for their target audience, they just didn't want to spend the money to bring it back up to standard after leaving it to rot for three years! 😞

Maybe they will buy the Hornet from Flambards that is a permanent coaster or getting a log flume would be good for the park.

Either way we really hope they invest in permanent attractions moving forwards as opposed to temporary ones. Especially given just how much land they actually have available (with existing planning permission) to build on!

The rocket coaster is no longer available for the rest of 2024 according to their website. its no longer on the website.. they cant be getting rid of it after a few months surley can they?
