I still can't get over the size of those old Bentleys. Seeing a driver without the coachwork makes that even more apparent. This era was probably the last time a British car was larger than an American car.

This is exactly how Rolls and Bentleys used to be delivered to the various coach builders back in the day just chassis, running gear and a seat for the delivery driver

I can see how it’s lightweight. I saw lorries in India being delivered like this. The drivers would sit on pallets.
