Like the fine southern day you mentioned there's nothing hotter to wear than a chest rig (excluding full body armor). That said - your example of a time to wear a minimalist carry method is truly justified. I just prefer all the advantages of a belt and harness - minimalist or heavy loaded. I always wondered how you 'ran across' all those 'deals and finds'!👍
