That last edge is tricky alright I broke a lense because I got a little impatient and wasn't really pulling it out sideways. My other headlight I found after 240° for 15 minutes I went around the whole headlight with a flathead and got between the permaseal then another 15 minutes in the oven again and it came right apart. Any downsides to baking them this hot for this long? Little bit scary to think about. Does it weaken anything?

If the temp is proper and the heating elements aren't close to the lens, the risk is very minimal. But plenty of people have melted lights in the oven from not pre-heating their own or there was some sort of malfunction. Do this are your own risk.

Have you ever opened 2020 Silverado halogen headlights from a Custom trim? Just wondering if it can be done, thanks for any info!

Yes, it can be opened up the same way. This method works for any light but some are tougher than others. Last resort is cutting the lens off and reattaching when done.

I did this same technique with my 2017 Ford Focus headlights and the sealer is still rock hard, I put it in the oven for 20-minute intervals at 275º and the sealer is still stiff, I repeated this process for 2 hours. What can I do?
