I appreciate this sermon, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with no guarantees to live, I went thru chemotherapy, radiation treatment two major surgeries, Jesus went thru far worst than this vessel, im not perfect falling short of the glory of God, I repented and now 12 years later, cancer free, I now share the Gospel to others, im praying for everyone

I went through homelessness, drug addiction and mental illness for years and years only to have it all come to me giving my life to Jesus. Now I praise God and live every day in peace from Jesus. God works all things for good for those that love him and are called according to his purpose. God speaks directly to you through the Holy Bible

This preaching brought me tears and led me to repentance and surrender to God's sovereignty over the sudden death of my husband who was a pastor in January 17, 2022. Nothing had prepared me for it. I was angry at why God didn't heal him while in the ICU for 28 hours. I wasn't even able to say goodbye. I felt that my faith in His healing power was betrayed. I waited for 3 hours, after he was clinically declared by the doctors, in his bed for Jesus to bring back my husband's life. I got bitter when it didn't happen and I questioned His love and faithfulness. This preaching has rebuked me and I acknowledge God, in His sovereignty, allowing such death to happen. I don't know exactly on how to move on but I trust God to take care of me. Since my husband died, life as a widow became so difficult. Thank you for posting this sermon. This was 7 years ago but God is using this for me now.

@@lumberjaxe8910 Mother Teresa (Agnes) was the personification of evil. She opened ''hospitals'' but just left the sick and dying laying on the floor. She offered no help or treatment. She maintained their suffeing would bring them closer to God. Meanwhile, she received millions of dollars, much of it unaccountable from tyrants and despots. She used the money in her own teatment so that she would not suffer.

I love God, because I became 90% Paraplegic at home in Scotland 68 years ago, but God brought me three people who lent me their strength and taught me to walk at the age of 4 years in two full length callipers. My Mother whose work and patience gave me a fighting spirit, and our local Highland ministers Sister, who used the laying on of hands to give me the strength to win in that ability to walk. The Orthotic engineer who built me the power in steel and leather to stand up and all those who came after them to this day. Finally God gave me a wife who would not let me stop fighting to keep going. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.

@@jonathandrwal3656They say John Macarthur is a Calvinist.... Tho I've listened to him for 5+ years now and never detected one once of Calvinism. Voddie Baucham has always given powerful , precise Sermons on the basics of our Christian Faith , but rejects the Rapture and everything that will be going on during those 7 years in Heaven.. Kent Hovind has fed me with an enormous amounts of Creation Evangelism . But not totally convinced He's embracing the Rapture also.... And then there's the question of "Old Earth/Gap Theory ". That He embarrassingly shames fellow Believers that ponder the possibility , who not just by curiosity , but with Scriptural Evidence.... All of them are Great Men of God... And we must except our difference's... Until we are made known the WONDERS of GOD

If God is a liar, should we only believe you? There is a way that seems right, to man, but there in lies death. If there is no God, then there is no evil and your righteousness will be sufficient for judgement - according to you. OK. If you are right, then there is no reason for good. Greater men than you have thought the same, and tried to prove the same, yet they came to the saving grace of Jesus. The depth of your knowledge is less than the thickness of a hair.

Yes, there is a reason. Everything has to do with karmic retribution. Death does not hurt, life does. We are here to suffer to redeem ourselves for the sins of our past lives. Jesus and Buddha both informed us of reincarnation but in the case of Jesus, the R. C Church removed any mention of reincarnation in the fourth century, that's all folks.

Death doesn’t hurt? Tell that to the guy who lays in bed for 3 days with 3rd degree burns and then dies. There is no mention of reincarnation in any of the scriptures that were effectual 4000 years before the Catholic Church ever existed. Yes, the RCC is a false church, but it hasn’t suppressed any reincarnation scriptures. The scriptures are the only reliable source of God’s truth. There is no nirvana and no reincarnation.

Saying, “there is no God” doesn’t make Him any less angry with you. It might make you feel better, but it’s like putting a bandaid on a wart, you can cover it up but it doesn’t fix the problem. “God is angry with the wicked every day”

Watched this again yesterday. I'd watched it years ago, and it makes so much sense. The late Dr. Sproul would say that on this side of eternity, we'll never understand these things fully, but when we see the culmination of God's plan for His glory in eternity, we'll 100% understand and know that it couldn't have been any other way. Study History and some original scripture which is in Hebrew. Where is the Way, Truth and Life? Well in messiah and His true name is YAHUSHA the Ha Mashiach. Names don't change in Language. Spelling does because it's a different language, but pronouncing does not change. Research the origins of the name ''Jesus'' and see how it is ''Jee Zeus'' the sky and thunder god in ancient Greek as well as ''earth pig'' in Latin. Research what ''Lord'' means and ''God'' as well. Why in the KJV is there ''Name of the LORD'' all over the place when ''LORD'' is not a name? Why is there ''LORD'' in caps and ''lord'' in lowercase? Because KJ took His name out. Research that and Pray for understanding. Messiah walked the earth as a dark skinned Hebrew man ''Yahusha'' not a white man named Jesus. The Scriptures have been watered down much over the years by the enemy who is the god of this world, satan and he knows the Scriptures better than anyone except the Almighty YAHUAH Himself. Many books have been taken out as well. Salvation is in the blood of Yahusha who is YAHUAH in the flesh. YAHUAH is the Name of the Almighty and His Name is very important just as the Scripture speaks. Those few truly born again obey the Torah just as messiah spoke and are not in religion. Those two plus billion christians can't fully obey it because they are just in religion and not filled with the true Ruach (Spirit) of Elohiym Almighty. Christianity is Truth mixed with lies. Many are called and FEW are chosen. Fear and Obey YAHUAH the Almighty whose name is written in mankinds DNA and History and Original Text.

@@rivierror1251 Yes the sin of man, God created Adam and his partner Eve.He created them perfect and sinless.It wasn't until they both disobeyed God,listening to Satan and ate from the tree of knowledge and there is were sin began.It has grown and grown ever since.Yes God has the power to heal all.If a child dies from cancer,or anything else for that matter they are in heaven,suffering no more.With a perfect new body worshipping the Lord God Almighty. God made man to sin. According to the Bible story in Genesis there is no way possible that it could be humans fault for anything. Humans didn't create themselves. Religion is really stupid. It has been really effective at mind control I'll give it that. Oh and any being that would create a place like Hell to punish for all eternity is the real monster.

I moved to the city alone in hopes of finding a future, only to not have anybody to depend on while barely making it. I've been homeless before and don't want to end up in that situation again. I'm so sorry to hear. I'm in a similar situation. Except I cannot get a job because I have too many health issues, I'm currently waiting for a kidney and pancreas transplant. I am in hemodialysis as I type this. I'm having trouble finding a new home to move to. I'll keep you in my prayers. Please pray for me and my small family too.

I am so glad that through the Grace of God, i discovered this pastor because i feel that he preaches God's gospel they way it should be taught, not adding nor subtracting anything to the truth. He also quotes verses in the Bible to backup everything he is teaching. I truly pray that God blesses you for all your good work. I love you as God's servant. May you live long and continue to share the truth with those of us who have been misled so much that we are becoming sceptical about who to listen to nowadays. Thank you so much and God bless.

@@colinjava8447 I will try to answer to the primary comment! I think through KZbin he found this sermon and this sermon spoke to his heart, his inner being! That’s I believe he found God. To answer why he allow suffering? Because we are living together with the fallen angels such Satan. Satan confuses the people in many ways and that includes suffering, he allows it to display his Glory, Power and Sovereignty! If everything is perfect to you, would you need God? Health is perfect, you are rich etc etc just perfect! And with perfect world you don’t need God who is sovereign!

And I feel sorry for you. John is a Calvinist who makes you doubt about your salvation Jesus promised. Anything that makes you doubt your salvation comes from evil itself. Read your Bible and do not rely on anyone’s interpretation. This is how many people fall into Jehova’s witness and many other cults who comes to you in God’s name but lead you to hell.

God has not done this to her, MEN did this to her, with their claims of what is natural for us to consume, and her belief in what a human with a white coat tells her to eat, instead of learning from God\Mother nature themselves. to be more specific: stop cooking your food and start eating raw animal products, cancer is a mutation in your body that eats sugar and needs no air, fibre carbs and sugars are all sugars, stop eating men made poison and men made plants, mother nature tells you that, you're an apex-predator, start acting like one.

David Winkler According to the bible, satan is the lord of this world for until everything is completed. A lot of horrendous things have happened and will continue to happen, but god will will not intervene. You can even pray and try to prevent events from happening; most suffering leads to better ends according to the teachings, wherefore god will allow them to happen. He allows suffering for humanity to experience the darkness, so that she learns to cherish, protect and care for the light; that is to say for all things that are moral, social and just; and that in honesty, not because we were programmed to do so, or because we were forced out of our free belief trough evidence of gods existence, and a life in the hereafter. If humans were wise enough from the beginning, everybody would have had all truth received without effort, falling into their laps, which could lastly not generate the same sense of dignity of one, who has worked hard to understand the truth. Some might argue that they would still find it better if the world never experienced suffering and received all truth without effort, but this life is fading anyways; everything will perish and all suffering will come to an end one day. Everybody will get over what they had to experience in this world. And there is always someone who has experienced worse things than oneself. Life without suffering will also come to an end; and whoever experienced such a life, will very likely not care much about the things that are moral, social and just; only about the things that make their own life as convenient, and long lasting as possible; just like the kings and queens of our history did. They mostly never experienced suffering throughout their lives, and therefore became prideful egomaniacs, that in their ignorance destroyed their own country. But the kingdom of god is meant to last forever, unlike the kingdoms of our world, that always perished because of sin. That's why jesus said: "Blessed are the humble; blessed are the poor; blessed are the merciful; blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will inherit the kingdom of god", as all other people would make the kingdom of god perish. I actually find a lot of truth and reason to believe in god when reading certain teachings.

Sorry but you have not found the truth . This man does not preach but a very watered down gospel message at best. Sadly that is very much a common message these days. Jesus provided so much more then this man declares in preaches. Jesus made healing very easy to receive when one understands the laws governing faith. Laws like gravity. Saved or not if you violate that law both will get the same result. If you are not seeking God with all your heart your most likely not going to find him. Their are only a few ministries I know of that really make available teaching that will correctly guide people to a full understanding of Gods word.

Listening to this in the middle of the night trying to deal with all the evil attacking me back to back for over 2 years. When I think things settling down here comes another totally unexpected abuse and chaos caused by an individual attacking me in different arenas. Attacks totally unexpected or warranted. This sermon helps me to remember we do not fight against flesh and blood when I lean toward self blame

I had a Mormon friend explain "you want your son to be as much as you right? You wouldn't want your son to be LESS than you thought? Well if you were a King you would want your son to be a King also." I replied "I'll give you that and a son gets to become king when the kIng dies and the king I am under will NEVER die so I am satisfied to remain a prince under my king forever." I was only in my 20's at the time and believed then and now that God gave me the words to answer.

Depression... is just a choice. YOU ‘choose life or death’, YOUR mind must be renewed (Rom12:2, 2Cor10:4,5, 11:3). God 'limited' Himself, Ps78:41. About ‘sovereignty’, the worst religious doctrine⁉️ Often religion mixes the Old and the New Covenant (or, ‘Testament’) and encourages performance (change from the outside in!) instead of grace through faith, and has done much harm in history. But maybe the biggest heresy of religion, which is preached possibly in 99% of the churches, is the wrong concept of ‘sovereigty’. God (in the NT) is not the source of evil, sickness, tsunamies, drugsabuse, etc! He also does not “allow” this to “educate” you. LIES of hell! God is only good ✝️❤️ “I believe this is the worst doctrine that is working in the Body of Christ today” that completely negates the trust that 'God is a good God', Andrew Wommack. If you believe that God made you sick, why would you go to the doctor, to get rid of sickness, trying to get out of God’s will? Jesus said, ‘You hypocrites... you are if you think and do these things’, Mark 7. Well okay, don't try medicine; let sickness abound in you! God 'gave it to you' (?), teach you a lesson'(?), 'God must have a purpose with my sickness(?). What a shame for God when you listen to the accuser, and think you have no responsibility now.

There is always the yin and yang to balance the power of forces of the Universe. But God created us to overcome evil if we are confronted with. We know from our own personal experiences that this is possible if we trust fully in God and remain faithful to Him and accept that ultimately He can help us. PTL. Men is driven by lust which is sin and death. This goes back to the creation of heaven and earth. When Finally God has to sacrifice His Son, Jesus, to save those want to return to God and praise Him always. Help me Lord to understand and place ourselves in Thy care. With our return to praise Thee, Evil will retreat to darkness and the depth of abbey so tha You God will control everything again. T Q the Eternal Lord and God and Spirit, You are totally in charge again. Amen.

Repent, Confess, and Believe in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ, his dying on the Cross for the sins of the world. And then you STOP sinning and walk in newness like Christ Jesus. And tell everyone that asks you for a reason for your Joy. You can then tell them God has made a way for us to come before him without our sin attached to us through the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Ive been ill since 2018 and it got worse after getting covid. Prior to that period... The first prayer i asked was to give me good health. I didnt askeed for material things yet God gave me the opposite. Its okay God....the faith of the Son of God in me trust you.

My second wife left because she is a narcissist and we have 2 kids that she is not allowing me to see or talk to whatsoever and is doing everything in her power to keep it that way. Again we are divorced. I'm seeking how, when or what needs to happen on my part to have our children in my and their life again. Our children are 2 and 5 years old.

@@utube1818 God didn't "give your mates daughter leukemia, yet He's right there. Sin affects all of us in a negative way, but scripture says this: Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick. That is what we're supposed to do in times of need and always. Point is that we are ALL sons of Adam meaning we have in us the consequences of the fall. This is why we must be born again. Read John Chapter 3.

I respect the man, but any apologist who makes it sound like trying to be intelligent is a sin roils me in the worst way. Amazing, now the challenge for us is to remember this when we go through anything no matter how difficult it is. I’m getting stronger in Him as I relax knowing He is God, and I am His child. All things work together for good to those who love Him. He will be with us in the fire, even the fire from His hand. He sent His people into captivity, and Daniel was among them, the fiery furnace was not a surprise to God. God bless Saints be strong in Him.

@@alil6547 Read their stories. Many of them went to their terrible deaths so filled with the Holy Spirit that they were singing praises to God as they were burned or flayed, or otherwise tortured. Seeing this, and knowing it had to be the power of God, thousands of persecutors got saved. That's why "Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His saints." Psalm 116:5. As for your salvation - How could we know? If you were born again, which is necessary but not sufficient for salvation, you should be able to mark a time when you saw things very differently than you had before: the Bible began to make sense, and you knew it is God's Word in truth (King James, no others); you were perhaps immediately cleansed of some bad habits; you felt a lightness, as the weight of your sin was taken from you as you realized Jesus had paid the price, and is your only Savior.....If nothing like that happened, but some pastor or somebody just told you you were "saved" because you said the sinner's prayer or something, start over. Repent of your sins, reminding yourself of God's promise in 1John 1:9 Get a King James Bible, read Genesis 1 through 9:19, and then through the New Testament a couple times. Be praying that the Lord supply your every spiritual need, that you might become everything He designed you to be, and everything else you want to tell Him and ask Him. As you continue to do that, "ask, seek, and knock," He assures you you WILL find Him. God bless you!!!! "Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee."

Though the entire Bible is amazing to meditate on. If you disagree with some things written in my comment that’s okay. Thank you for addressing Christian Science. I was raised in that religion from birth. I knew at a young age that there was something very wrong with their teachings. I begged my parents not to send me to Sunday school. You couldn’t at the time attend church until you were 21. When I was exposed to Christianity I had the hardest time believing that I was a sinner in need of a Savior. Thank God I had a Christian boss who spent most of our time at work that day talking about the truth. I wish now I would have known when my grandparents were alive.

I was raised in Religious Science after my mother switched from Christian Science. It all sounds nice and friendly and inclusive. They talk about the teacher Jesus, but it is all false teaching. Most of my family is still in it, but praise God I have know Jesus as savior for 26 years now.

Same. I was really trained in c.s. I had a hard time coming out of the core beliefs even after I intellectually rejected them. The gospel made perfect sense to me but the day I believed there was evil in the world I physically shook all night from fear. Of course in cs if you believe in evil it is empowered. But Jesus led me out of confusion step by step.

Two nights ago I dreamed of a black sky, no stars, no light. A small box shape, also black, began to be lifted from the other side. It was opened maybe one third of the way, I saw a hand pulling it back and a face began to appear telling me "I am Jesus, do not worry". I'm paraphrasing because words weren't said aloud, just inside my mind. The small part I could see including a partial glimpse of Jesus's face was bright and shining. That's all I remember. I felt calm when I woke up. Tonight this video appeared on my tv screen as KZbin did it's thing and played video after video. Thank you, but most of all, Thank God....

Your comment is a perfect example of how the belief that the Bible was inspired by a moral clever deity is daft. We are now nearly 2000 years after when we think the NT was mostly written, and it needs yet another interpretation to try to make sense of it?? There are already 30,000+ Christian sects with 30,000 different versions so what evidence do you have that this is any more "correct" than any other? Do you believe in an immoral God that did not care about all the other people who lived and dies in the past 2000 years never having heard this version?

The EVIDENCE is CONFIRMED again in Acts 10:44-48, Acts 19:1-6 - the INFILLING or baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT is ALWAYS evidenced with the SPEAKING IN OTHER TONGUES. There are FIVE ways TONGUES are used according to the Scriptures. One way, as we have seen in Acts and there are FOUR ways listed in 1Corinthians 14. REDEMPTION is under Acts 2:38.
