I can’t have enough of this man’s preaching. So biblically correct.

A totally outstanding Theologian, teacher, and pastor. For 7 years he was my pastor, during which time we had the privilege to receive up to 4 sermons each week. Not only was his preaching/teaching totally and always biblical, but he lived what he preached. He "retired" in 2013 and how we miss him.

I, Annelies Bakker, declare not one human being ever has to take a role of martyr or lamb of god upon him or her, since Jesus paid that sacrifice for humankind. In accordance with the very being of God's almighthy grace and love, I, Annelies Bakker, agree, believe and declare Jesus is my everlasting redeemer, shelter, defender, guard, protector for everything that is sacred to human life, now and forever: amen!

Dear Sinclair, why the stance against middle knowledge? To say that something is unknowable to God is a serious thing to say. Middle knowledge fits perfectly into His omniscience

According to Scripture, God searches and discerns... yet Augustinians claim God does no such thing. Scripture speaks of God's sequential actions, yet again Augustinians deny this. Closed Theists read the Bible unable to see the words on the page, having blinded themselves with their extra-Biblical, contra-Scripture philosophy.

God doesn't have to exist. God can be anything. God can be nothing or something. God can be living or nonliving. Materials are often viewed as Gods. Who's to say god has to be a living thing. Materials are both living and nonliving because they do and do not exist in the timeline. Both were they use to exist but don't anymore. Which is why God can be living or nonliving. God can be anything or nothing. Or simply both or neither.

If God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent... Then not only did God know your child would be raped.. Not only did he know the mass consensus was that was wrong.. Not only did he have the power to stop it.. He was in the room when it happened and he enjoyed it... Who are you to judge me...
@sdlkfjhasiodf14773 жыл бұрын
even more. He would have created Statan knowing that he would betray him, and he would have created Adam and Eve knowing that they would become sinners. If God is omniscient, then there is no free will, then we are just puppets or like characters in a movie whose ending God knows.
@taylor-bh8re2 жыл бұрын
@@sdlkfjhasiodf1477 not necessarily. We have free will but not what you would call Royal Liberty, which only God has. Actually, the fact that he has such Royal Liberty should be a comfort to you, as he allows you your freedom. He lets you do what you want to do, all the while letting you know through nature and consequences, yet sometimes with his intervention, that you would be his child and he would be your father if only you would repent of your wickedness. Call on him.
@taylor-bh8re2 жыл бұрын
@@sdlkfjhasiodf1477 to put it to you in layman's terms, we are free, and God is more free than we are. Power gives you more freedom, generally speaking, so the most powerful being is going to be the most free. We all have the tendency to think we're more powerful than we are 😉 The Bible says that outside of God's favor in the Lord Jesus we are slaves to sin, unable to choose anything but that which our hearts desire. The Bible also refers to us as dead in trespasses. Literally dead having no life outside of ourselves. Loving others is simply an act of self-love, because we do it because we want to. It makes us feel right and complete, and in order to feel right and complete, we have to "love" others, except outside of Christ we have much less of an idea of what love is, because love is not always doing what makes us feel better.
@sdlkfjhasiodf14772 жыл бұрын
@@taylor-bh8re By calling something super ultra or in this case royal to make a point is not going to prove anything. In the end god knows what is going to happen and everything is planned out accoding to relgious book. Just because god is a greater being, doesn't erase the fact, that we are degraded to puppets. I am blieving in god but not those religious scriptures because god gave us reason and god gave us a conscience with these tools, we can figure out what is good and what not. The easy way is to blieve in those stories the hard one is, to dig deep and find god inside yourself.

Physicists know since the works of Einstein and Heisenberg that omniscience is impossible. Reading from an old book does not change the facts.
