Trooper cards setup: Corporal: Kasuga Ichinojo Troopers: Yukimitsu, Shinada Tatsunosuke, Nishitani Shigeharu Strategy: Use Okanehira to remove his armor then activate the damage buff cards and use Nishitani to nuke his HP. Use a heat action right after for extra damage. As soon as he stands up activate Shinada and go ham on him. If he is still not dead get close to him and hold R2 in Wild Dancer style. Lower everybody else's HP and then switch to a sword with item drop rate to increase your chances of getting rare materials. A lot of people have commented about using the special attack in Wild Dancer style by holding R2 to kill the boss. try Kasuga Ichinojo, Ryudo Rikiya, Kitkata Kuranouske, Domyouji Ikki Run in break Bosses armor use Kasuga Ichinojo then Ryudo Rikiya use Kitkata Kuranouske, Domyouji Ikki to recharge special a little wait repeat. If Ryudo Rikiya lvl 10 in troop skill you kill boss and all around in two use of Ryudo Rikiya.

To anyone who is having trouble with dying quickly; make sure to fill your reserve squads in your Trooper card setup. Reserve cards add to your HP pool, so you can more than double your health bar.

@@bonkgameing To be fair, I think at least 60% of people that play this game don't know about this. The reserve squads seemed like some implementation of loadouts that you can easily switch too, so I did not bother until I read this comment.

Or another good thing to do here is cook some blissful udon and eat it in this mission for higher drop chances

For people doing this do note, since there is an extremely large pool of items, you could get everything in 1 hour or nothing in 4. This is even with a lot of drop rate seals (I had one maxed on my sword and 6 drop rate seals (2 maxed and 4 enhanced once)) where i got a total of 3 dragon eyes and 4 of the whiskers and fangs for 3 days of straight doing this. Conclusion, getting plat for this game is a rng grind fest. Additional notes for people who want to do this: Do it on easy The drop rate seals only affect whether an enemy in the fight is going to drop an item, it does not affect the item dropped being rarer (at least from personal experience)

@@phantom219 it’s made slightly worse by the fact it only counts if you craft the equipment, it’s a lot of rng and I just gave up. Also the seal grinding makes it even worse

@@villanknight Yeah it sucks because in the original you only had to acquire each item, not craft it. Unfortunately they changed it. As for the seals you should check the psnprofiles forums because someone found a method to get them all through crafting.

i found the corporal trooper that heals based on the number of x weapon troopers you have heals for a crazy amount and that it actually lets you face tank everything for a long period

I have the sumo wrestler as the corporal for the gunman style. When my health is low, I switch to it and run in circles around enemies until it's full.

I suggest using the R2 Special Move instead, it's just a huge spin attack that shreds him and the others as well, so it makes faster runs. Good luck to anyone out there in need for the mats.

Yes but you lose out on item drop rate even if you equip a few seals on your main weapon. Like I said in another comment you can either go for the fast way or switch weapons for higher drop rate. It's up to each person.

Alternatively, you can strip armor with R2 wild dancer, finish Sanada, and gun everyone down with dragon hawk or vortex. Can even build the guns for drop rate.

@@darksydeernie You do but having equipment with item drop rate increases the chances of an item actually dropping. The more items drop the more likely it is for the rare ones to appear.

At the Barracks talk to the dude in charge of the troopers and dungeon missions. Go to any squad to customize and there should be an option to change card use from automatic to manual.

Unfortunately you will need to farm him for hours to get everything required. Put on some music or podcasts and grind away. Good luck!

What seals you got equiped on your weapons and armour man? Sorry for the loaded question, im doing the grinding myself.

I show the seals for weapons at 2:18. Armor doesn't really matter. I was switching to the Jelly Blade cause the drop rate % is higher on it. You can either equip seals on your main weapon or switch to the Jelly blade since they will be slightly higher. Some say that only the weapon that deals the final blow affects the drop rate while others say everything helps. Still not sure 100%. You can always avoid switching weapons and kill everyone as fast as possible. That would make the run even faster.

There is nothing to fix, this is not a glitch. There have been no nerfs and drop rates were increased. Just gotta keep going and don't give up on the grind.

@@GODzLIMBO It was still working even at low levels. The cards will reach level 99 while grinding the materials so no need to worry about that. Also fill out your reserve squads as well for even more HP.
