Fortunately this confirms that my decision to just get 2 RG Nu Gundams was a better idea considering the kit was going to cost me the same as this P-Bandai pack and I was already getting the effect parts anyway, plus I wanted a second RG Nu Gundam for a custom. Also this stand would have been too tall for my shelving so would have been worthless anyway.

@@MatthewAreford All of the Fin Funnels are identical so there is nothing to prevent them from being used on the other side and I've used them to give my RG Nu Gundam double Fin Funnels so I can confirm that they work. To clarify the P-Bandai set just includes an extra set of Fin Funnels, a base adapter, the water slides and the old MG stand, so no extra fancy parts to get the double Funnels to work.

If you're just beginning, might I suggest RG Tallgeese EW. Simple build but holds up and looks real good. It's also undergated (somewhat) so you won't be too fearful of leaving behind nubmarks. God, I feel like the sommelier in John Wick 2 but with gunpla.😆

The sad thing is it's cheaper to buy two kits to have double funnels and then have spare parts than to get the premium bandai double set

You can use the arms to hold the "wings" in place. So they aren't floppy. Use the arms to make like a V and attach it to the last, or where it'll connect for size, funnel. Now they display as solid.

My only complaint about the Double FF Nu Gundam is that there's no place to store the main beam saber. It's only melee option is the spare, and it'd have to drop the shield to get it. I wonder why no one ever made new side skirt armor, like on the Zeta Gundam, to side step the problem?

I ordered the extra fins months ago from some website i cant remember, along with blue crossbone gundam... Anyways, why doesnt BANDAI sell effects parts, spare/ easily broken parts (for Robot Spirits mostly...my son is 4, which is a bit less than 15 yr suggested age). Yes, money...i know, but are that many people buying doubles or kits they dont want just for critical partz or effects?? Doubtful. Im fairly well off, but im not going to spend $50 for an effect or missing part...someone please tell BANDAI to sell certain parts special order, even $5-10 per part or effecr is better than spending $50 and not caring about 90% of that kit.

HI nu will probably be not to far. Remember the first nu rg should of been after sazabi rg was gotten instead we gotten fa unicorn right after that one before we then gotten nu gundam rg. After that one Bandai released the rg phenex so likely hi nu or hws, it's likely hws come first imho then hi nu since it will need more changes and additions then hws, will come just we need to wait. Just be patient.

wow im surprised im not like 4 years late to this video! Mecha Gaikotsu i had a question for you about this particular kit...i had a friend building it and he kinda fucked up on the arms after somehow doing the chest area of the torso JUST fine...and so those silver stickers to underlay on the clear green plastic in the arms got ruined and i had to use a model knife to peel them off because he decided it was silly looking to have them UNDER rthe clear green so he put them on top...which is not how its supposed to look...what would you advise i do since i do not have spare copies of the foil stickers for that? is there some kind of silver metallic paint i could use and just carefully paint the relevant surfaces and let dry? im not too knowledgable with painting kits and i just a few months ago got some gundam markers but havent had time to use them yet, though i have a good chance to soon! but just wondering if you had any advice for fixing that

I was wondering if anybody can awnser this, the double fin kit is the same as base nu gundam to even more based on site. Wouldn't you be able to just buy two nu gundam and use the fins from one and put it on the other and keep the nu gundam w/o the fins?

Yeah you should be able to. I ordered a second RG with the HWS upgrade so I could do double fin with the HWS.
