This song is sooo nostalgic!...I was kicked out of “ home” at 14 yrs old because I wanted to play guitar, and took my dads Cadillac for a joy ride!....all alone, I slept on rooftops (in the rain sometimes),and abandoned cars, with no direction home!...I lived on the streets of Los Angeles California for a couple of years....and, at 16, I finally got a menial job!...and I decided that I was going to be the best worker in the business. I am now comfortably retired!...BTW this song, (Bob Dylans version at that time) was one of the first two songs I learned to play on the streets!..(the house of the rising sun was #2!)...I love the Rolling Stones, so needless to say, and so appropriate, for Mick Jagger to put the Rolling Stone stamp of approval on this classic, and historical tune! ...PERFECT!...👍❤️

I've long believed their worst is better than most. And while there might be some parts not as good in parts of different songs, they still deliver some great shows. Anyone can knock them as much as they like, but tickets are still being sold, because the demand is still strong. They've more than earned their right as the giant of rock. I'm not sure which person of the trumpet/sax section once said, they don't need to gig again. Blondie Chaplin also said they could easily just stay home. So it's the pleasure of performing is what drives them l'm sure. And seeing their enthusiasm just confirms it. This is the only cover of Dylan's song l've heard, and it's the best version for me. Not many covers of originals are good, but l think this is the exception.

@@tristancarver734 if anyone knocks em I ask if they’ve seen them live - none ever have. My response is ‘go and see them live and we’ll talk later’. They’re beyond legends and they’re still nailing it, Mick’s voice is great and the boys on guitar?? Well what can you say…they’re as one, a privilege to watch them live, they broke the mould and there won’t ever be another Rolling Stones, catch em whilst you can. You’ll kick yourself if you don’t. 10/10

Well he looks much younger than 78 and don't get me started on Ronnie Wood, he looks 50. So it shows even if you take drugs and alcohol when you're younger, if you take care of yourself in your later years, you will live a long, healthy life. Jagger Looks like he could do this for at least 10 years more. And still have a few years to retire after that.

I remember the first time I heard this song on the radio back in '66 or whenever. We were on our way to the beach in L.A. I think it came on right after Paint it Black. That was in the very early days of AOR (Album Oriented Radio), and such a wonderful time in the history of rock and roll! We didn't have CDs or even cassettes back then.

A friend of mine sang this song at our wedding and shared the mic with us. Me and my wife traveled to UK for a rock trip to see as many rock concerts as we could. Seeing The Rolling Stones sing this song at Hyde Park with a beautiful sky was a dream come true. I wasn’t expecting this at all as Living in a Ghost Town was the usual choice for the band in this spot of the set list. 🤘

Beautiful!!! Great singing and playing from everyone. Joy everywhere👍Happy to watch this. May they keep rocking as long as they keep enjoying it! Very well shot too! Prices are obnoxious though. I do know: "they're The Rolling Stones." Yes they are, but still... too much fckg dosh for promoters. I, like many thousands, have stopped buying tickets for a long time now. I could afford it but couldn't stand seeing the crowd divided between the haves at the front and the have-not-that-much at the back. Saw them at Wembley Stadium and even Marseille Velodrome Stadium. Twenty years ago a fan would pay a fair price and arrive hours before and stand in the sun before running to a well-deserved stadium front, rich and poor side by side elbow to elbow. Sorry but I had to say this. Long live The Stones!
