Most Metal/Rock/Hardcore bands have personal and introspective lyrics that can be applied to fans or just life in general, in many different perspectives. Lyrics are a poetic form of expression within music and thats how bands create this energy and emotions through their songs they work together to form. And thus the listener can be carried on a journey of what they feel they connect with.

MEyck97 I love all the bands you mentioned. Capture the Crown, in my opinion, is a great band and Memphis is one of my biggest inspirations. its what got me into metalcore. They aren't bad bands. They are some of the greats in my eyes. Ive heard everything from deathmetal to classic rock and they stand out in my eyes. Not fighting you, just expressing my side.
