The fact that this show got criticized for making everything so over the top, and characters being "way too ignorant", especially in this episode feels very ridiculous, since that was the WHOLE POINT. The humor is the fact that characters make such foolish choices that you don't like them for it. It's a satirical take on the Silent Generation, and how them and most of their society can't comprehend there being people like Cristal who aren't looking for romantic monogamy. It makes Huey's statement to Riley about not everyone is trying to use someone ("We're talking 20%."), all the more ironic since there's probably more men or women today who are simply taking advantage of their partner, but the partner too much of a fool to see it.

3:19 Riley using an 8 year old's logic is a decent detail. What's wild now is that there's way too many grownass men nowadays that think like that, and ironically are bitter because they can't find girlfriends or maintain relationships due to their entire manospheric dispositions. Or at least until they grow out of that childish mindset. If they ever do that is 🤷🏾♂️

You two don't seem to be big on accountability for women's poor decisions in life, instead you two go out of your wat to make excuses and poor justification for them.
6 ай бұрын
A lot of a woman’s poor decisions stems from her upbringing which normalized it! You can have accountability while also understanding that aspect. Have some compassion instead of shaming her poor decision.
@venomousbroly6 ай бұрын
@ Shame is something people don't have these days ,having shame is a corner stone trait that keeps people honorable and disciplined to make good decisions in their lives which inturn affects others around , as soon as the term slut shaming came in to the picture women's integrity has gone down the drain and makes things like only fans acceptable
@venomousbroly6 ай бұрын
@ So yes bring back shaming but with good intension.
