I found out today that my school will be in Yongin so I did a KZbin search for it and found your videos, which are going to be so helpful for me. :) SO nervous! I've been to Seoul before for vacation, but I don't know what to expect with Yongin.

So it sounds like you won’t be renewing your contract in 6 months? Thanks for your thoughts-really appreciate that!

Stacy Barbadillo I will not be. It’s not that I don’t love it here, I just have friends and family at home and I can’t get myself to stay for another year. :) I definitely recommend others to renew though! It’s a great opportunity!

Could you make a video on your process deciding on this decision of not wanting to renew your contract, and maybe things that would make you want to renew it?

Jenny D I can try! Honestly, the ultimate factor is that my boyfriend and family are at home. I'm just not the type of person who can go 2 years without seeing them. It's hard when you don't know the language and a lot of things make me homesick. Korea is amazing and if I was in a different situation, I'd probably stay (:

Hey! I came across your video while trying to find recent opinions on the EPIK program. I have a quick question: approximately how much would you say you save after living/food/travel/misc. expenses each month? I have loans to pay off back in the States and I'm wondering if the income is sufficient to pay off like 4-500 bucks monthly AND save some money. Thanks! (P.S. I love your brows)

Jane S hi! I would say you can definitely save money even with loans. I save anywhere between 1mil to 1.2 mil a month after all of my expenses. I cook for myself and go out every weekend too :) I wouldn’t say it’s a breeze to save. Obviously you have to be aware of your spending, but I find it a lot easier to save than in the states. Hope that helps!

@@mikidough Thank you thank you! Trying to pay 1200 a month here just on rent is really going to eat at my checking and savings accounts. So it looks like I just need to make sure I make a strict budget with food and alcohol..and cheap underground clothes

for how long are you staying in S Korea?

Pandora hi! I’m only staying for a year unfortunately. My contract ends feb 28th!

Good content overall but you could probably edit this to condense the material and shrink the length of the video.

Wendy Bell thanks for the advice! I’m still getting used to speaking in front of a camera so I do ramble quite a bit 😅 I’ll get better :)

@@mikidough Also another suggestion: if you're giving out a number of pointers maybe you can add some print on the screen briefly explaining your next point so it's easier for viewers to follow what you're saying =)
