Most black people aren't millionaires, that's the problem. Wayne is just ignorant. EDIT: A lot of you have seemed to miss the point of this because I get replies to this single statement daily. Yes, we know most PEOPLE are NOT millionaires. The problem is that Wayne doesn't see racism or doesn't experience it/experiences it less is because he's a successful multi-MILLIONAIRE. However, most black people have to deal with systemic racism because they are NOT millionaires. Black people cannot be saved by money they do not have. So please, we get it. Most white people aren't millionaires either. That's not the problem.

@@e.t.gohome8042 He never said that there are no more problems for black people. He just knows that there are problems for everybody, not just white people, not just black people. And as for innocent black people dying on the streets, most of that is because they are being shot by other black people. But when people bring up this issue and try to solve it, they're seen as racist! In 2019 so far, the police force have shot and killed 850 people. Of those 850 people, 172 of those people were black. Of those 172 people, 8 of them were unarmmed. Of those 8, 3 people were not fleeing the scene. 10 unarmmed white people who weren't fleeing the scene were shot and killed. Black people make up 13% of the population. these numbers have been decreasing over the past few years. When you factor in the amount of crimes committed by black people as opposed to white people, the numbers add up. Racism isn't a problem, at least not a big problem, when it comes to police shootings. You are way more likely to die from something as mundane as a heart disease or a car crash. The chances of a black person dying at the hands of the police each year for no reason are about %0.000000807655932 and over the course of a lifetime about %0.00005734357. You are more likely to get struck by lightning twice in the same year. Get over this completely irrational belief and come join the rest of us in reality.

@@2235-n7x Listen. I'm not gonna sit here and act like the cops don't attack everyone. Last week, I saw a group of cops attack a white woman who could do nothing to defend herself, as they tased her several times. Thus, I would appreciate it if you would drop the projections. However, we cannot ignore the facts. Policing was created as a racist institution and has continued this legacy to today. The amount of unarmed black people shot and killed by police is disproportionate to other groups of people. Even without unarmed shootings, black people are more likely to go to jail for a crime and likely to be in jail longer for the same crime. They are even more likely to go jail for crimes they did not commit. The police system is both a corrupt and racist institution but the problems they create must be addressed quickly depending on their magnitude and black people are targets of the police from harassing to arrests to shootings. Since you've interjected yourself into this discussion, maybe you should speak on this. How are those individuals supposed to rise to Lil Wayne's status if they are in jail for crimes they didn't commit or worse off, dead?

So many celebrities today bow down to pressure from those who have deemed themselves the elites and manipulate those in the limelight into helping them force their beliefs into the culture. @Guy Who Killed U part of the “problem” is that instead of exchanging ideas and expressing opinions, people try to point fingers and say things like “ you’re the problem”. Try to listen and explain in an understanding way rather than point fingers and scream at people with capitalized sentences and mean statements. There’s a lot of hysterical people screaming and pointing when they hear an opinion different from theirs. It reminds me of the pod people in “invasion”. Calm down.

Yet the BLM riots killed more black people in a few months than the police did in 3 years combined.

Cande Willis I do not have the stats. But I assure you, they are fewer blacks killed obeying the law than resisting arrest or flat out threatening the police. Don't get me wrong, if you go back a few years in America as I have learned from movies there are public and blatant displays of bias by police and state officials. But now even in a majority black town or city, black mayor, black police chief. Majority black officials you still get the same problem. Does that not tell you there might be other issues at play. Just think about that for a second. And any black person that questions the prevailing narrative is automatically shouted down.

Since when did the American dream start being meant for Black people? I am not being sarcastic.. tell me when did things began changing for Blacks in this country. I NEED TO KNOW.

But the fact that you had to ask if its possible for 1 Black person to be living "The American Dream" mean that there is a problem with the concept. "The American Dream" was coined phrased by white guy by the name James Adams in the early 30's. James was speaking from a wealthy white mans perspective, which was a social order in which each man and each woman shall be able to attain to the fullest stature of which they are innately capable, and recognized by others for what they are. You might want to read that a couple of times before proceeding. So I said.. how is it that, perhaps, Lil Waynes Mom had to hear about Dr. Martin Luther King being shot by "America" and then Lil Wayne is born to sell crack by the age of 8.. make a bunch of money by rapping in a group called Hot Boys? THAT IN ITSELF IS A CONTRADICTION. Yes he is a millionaire now, but he got money not because his mother was inspired to pursue "The American Dream" and passed something to her Son.. and then her Son, Lil Wayne, aspired to pursue The American Dream and then attained that American Dream. Listen.. the American Dream is not something you attain physically.. it is a society with a social order that would allow all men and women to attain the fullest *stature that he or she pursue. It is obvious that AMERICA herself clearly did not welcome the Black community to take part in this dream.. and ANY BLACK PERSON WHO APPEARED TO HAVE ATTAINED THE DREAM PHYSICALLY WAS QUICKLY REMINDED THAT THE FACT THEY WERE BLACK VOIDED THIER ADMISSION INTO THAT SOCIETY.. THAT DREAM.. BECAUSE OF THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN. Lol.. James Adams was born 1878 and in 1931 coin phrased American Dream. Marcus Garvey was pursing this supposed dream in 1919 by creating the United Nigro Improvement Association, but what did "AMERICA" do? she sends J Edgar Hoover after him to destroy Marcus Garvey audacity to pursue the American Dream. Lol.. J Edgar Hoover gave another Black man his American dream by making him the first Black man to work for the FBI to help him destroy the possibility for many other Black people to be admitted into that Dreamy society. So as far as I am concern "THE AMERICAN DREAM" is a delusion that isnt to be pursue, but FREEDOM, JUSTICE, AND EQUALITY is a reality worth pursuing. The real question you should have been, Munchy, is what purpose did America intend for that 1 or 2 Black person to appear to be living the American Dream? Even better.. WHY ARE THEY MAKING IT SEEM LIKE LIL WAYNE IS LIVING THE AMERICAN DREAM????? COULD IT BE, LIKE THAT FIRST BLACK FBI AGENT THAT WAS HIRED BY HOOVER TO DESTROY GARVEY, THEY ALLOWED RAPPERS LIKE LIL WAYNE TO WALK AROUND WITH DRUGS IN HIS CUP TO INFLUENCE HIS PEERS TO ENJOY THEIR VERSION OF THE AMERICAN DREAM BY BECOMING AN ADDICT.. and I do not mean any malice to Lil Wayne for being so blunt.

He has a point tho. Im white and I love him and his fellow artists. Racism isn't for white people or black people, it is for colorless poeple who can't see that we are not all the same and thats what makes the world good. You see people for people not for a color. Im a a young white man who struggles with addiction, used to steal, i have a mugshot out there somewhere but meeting me you wouldn't think that. You could meet an honor role black student and think he's worse than me? Without meeting him? Color is pointless, action is what counts.
