it's just because J Ross was acting the fool (a comedian's job) and because he has the dual job of interviewer and comedian, sometimes it's tough to see which one he is going for (for me, at least, an American, and probably for Em here as well), but evidently his fool becomes apparent, and Em alas can't subside his emotions / hate / reservations at the end, resulting in him letting loose and smiling :)

He failed that in the first film he was in with seth rogan, he bursted out laughing twice on set. He's laughed like 3 times in the interview with Royce in 2012 but he kept trying to hide the fact that it was him loudly laughing but pulling his face out of view from the camera lens, he laughs at stuff he writes on paper for Royce, laughs when Royce says about the apparent best advise Em has ever given him and the 3rd laugh was when Em says where he'd take a girl on her first date but when Royce protests against the impossibility of enjoyment to the choice Em chose, He avoids it then laughs again.

To go through so much and come out of it all so intelligent in all he does with his music and life is rare. Many that go through as much end up in gangs, prison for life or dead. Instead, he preserved and became a hip hop and wrap icon. I still can’t believe he’s so close to my age. How does one go through so much in life and stay so physically young?

Eminem is an incredibly underrated SINGER. He improved tremendously in this over time. He wasn’t bad to begin with, but he really polished his singing tone, pitch accuracy, developed excellent control through a pretty solid register. He is a talented vocalist. He knows how to make his voice sound larger than life on record too, with subtle octaves and harmonies etc.

@@lilkenprez205 Well it had been four years from Proof's death to this interview, and I'm at that point as well since my best friend, husband, soul mate, life partner, father of my kids died so I can tell you at this point....it's a lot better than the first year and a half at least. That was his best buddy since he was 16 years old and his hype man, always helping him on tour and choosing the order of his songs for each show for him etc... so yeah it was super intense for him and he wasn't prepared for it. Apart from Hailie and Alania and Whitney the most important person in his life for sure was Proof then and children you feel responsible for so that's not the same. Proof was his rock like my husband was mine. Not meaning to diss Kim here but she had her own substance abuse problems and was getting pissed off with his substance abuse problems so that couldn't work out.
