The “ studio steppers moving extra faking rep” followed up with the breaking bad line is crazy. When you think about what extras do in movies film studio(faking background activities) and Cole he relates it to other rappers. This man is the main character lol 😂 so it’s like Cole and yatchy are Walter white and pinkman who happens to be the only 2 dudes who can cook meth with a 99% purity in other words “secret recipe” the verse is just so interesting anyhow you choose to interpret it.

Honestly, could've given Lil Yachty more credits for he had quite some decent bars in it, and some actual good ones too like the window shopper bar and the flip on chess over checkers. Kinda ironic as he mentioned people refusing to give him his props 😂 Just some food for thought. And J Cole definitely killed it as always, one of his top tier verses IMO.

Agreed. I used to be a Yachty hater but he's been popping off on his lyrics lately. His voice is unique tho and I could see how that's off putting to some people. He doesn't have a traditional rap tone.

For me any music has to be sonically pleasing for me to enjoy it and want to listen to it. That goes for metal, jazz, blues soul etc… so with that being said the first young man’s voice was not pleasing so I could not focus on his words and it seemed at odds with the rhythm of the music. The second guy’s delivery rode the beat and was very sonically pleasing so his lyrics made a much bigger impression on me! I am no expert that is just my 2 cents 👵🏻Love ya BP! ✌🏻🫶🏻

Yachty sounds like a non-rapper trying to rap for the first time. The lyrics are clearly well-thought out, but the cadence is off and proper breath-control is not being used. Not my preference, but I’m not the intended audience. For this song, he did his thing though.

The Yachty/Boat sank, from beginning to end. Off beat, sounds terrible, simple spoken words (not rap in my opinion). Cole was good. If this text on the screen triggers you emotionally (you lack emotional intelligence) then you need to step back and think about life differently, Getting triggered by anyone on the Internet is pointless - and keep in mind that everyone has an opinion.
