Love what you did here. Such an amazing version. With buckley covering simone. But the one thing no one can ever capture singing buckley is the despair, gut wrentching, soul, and foreboding. The unearthly, primal quality of his voice. He poured out his heart like very few singers I've ever heard. He sounded like he was going to die and he unfortunately did. Such a loss. In your spare time watch him perform "grace" and " lover you should've come over" Not the studio versions but the live ones. Theyre on youtube. I mean just jaw dropping. How he inhabited the songs.

Another absolutely beautiful interpretation of another great song. I have absolutely no interest in reaction videos. But I sure do think you have an absolutely gorgeous voice. I think it’s very special & would love to hear more. Your tone is just very warm & crisp and easy to listen to while also being exciting. Anyway, you’re pretty fantastic. As is the pianist. Good job all around.

That was absolutely amazing and such an inspired choice to sing. It totally is perfect for both styles of music. You look incredible and only better the more emotion you put in and that isn’t always what happens when people have to put in more effort or get the “feels” when performing.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with an artist exploring different techniques. Telling someone to avoid learning a technique because you may not enjoy it is lame.

@@taigafaiya1298 That's why it's good to practice using techniques that don't damage your vocal cords. Screaming/growling can be done relatively effortlessly once you've nailed the technique.

This is an excellent tribute to how good Buckley's voice was.
So after listening to both your Cave cover and this I’ve been trying to figure out why I just really love what you’ve done with both. Sometimes & maybe often, classically trained voices sound too trained when covering pop and standard stuff. There’s a colder feel that doesn’t match the songs. You, on the other hand, use your classical voice in a way that still conveys the feel of the original. Just a great combo.

The first and best cover of Lilac Wine by Jeff Buckley I think I will ever heard. I haven’t been through his catalog in a while…. I’ll go through it and give some reaction suggestions. Jeff Buckley was just amazing, it’s unfortunate he’s not around anymore. Mojo Pin is the only song sticking out in my head right now because it was the first song I heard of his way back when. You have an awesome voice…. Just found your channel today through a KZbin suggestion for a reaction to Tool (one of my favorite bands), and thought I would check your singing out…. Very talented. I don’t know if you have heard of Andrew Bird: violin/fiddle player, wistler, singer, artist, etc…, but a reaction video to one of his songs, “Why” live at Guthrie Theatre ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIuloI1mqLqHac0 ) or “Skin, Is My” Live at Bonnarroo ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5WtlKVnl9erlbs ) would be cool intro to him. I am officially an intrigued and entertained new subscriber.

What an interesting version. I love it. You should try "grace" by buckley. But something about buckley no matter who or in what way they do his songs. Cant quite capture the emotion, the soul and tortured despair he brought. He lived and died young. And you can hear the foreboding and inner turmoil in every line. Just give "Grace" And "Lover you should've come over" a listen studio or live. I actually prefer to see him do them live. Youre amazing and I love your voice.

You have this song credited to Jeff Buckley, it is actually a Nina Simone song and her version is just as amazing as Jeff's, that's hard to say but true.
@cristinamrusso Жыл бұрын
Actually it is written by James Shelton and I have credited him in the description. I have listed Jeff Buckley in the title mainly because I suspect it may draw in more viewers, but I completely agree with you that Nina Simone's version is stunning.
