Great job Lila. I am obsessed with color correction. It is truly the thing that slows me down in getting out videos.
@lilafromyoutube5 жыл бұрын
Hiiii Brian!! haha I get that. Setting your white balance manually will already help you a lot! For this video, I forgot to set my white balance and it was one of those days that the clouds were moving super fast and therefore the exposure kept changing. I had to do a LOT of correction for this video, so I feel your pain. But usually by setting my white balance manually it doesn't take too long.

@@lilafromyoutube It is and I will check it out. If you have time, have a look at my latest upload using the tips from this video. Outdoor flight videos normally don’t need any correction, but indoor unboxings do. Though I might color correct outdoor stuff anyway now that I know how to do it 😎
@lilafromyoutube3 жыл бұрын
@@GBLynden it looks great!! I also took a peak at an outdoor video and I think you can definitely correct it a little bit to make it pop more by adding a bit of contrast for example :) but overall the straight out of camera footage looks pretty good!!

Just found your channel and I love your tutorials! Thank you for sharing! My one tip for colour correcting or grading (works for photo or video): when you’re done, leave it for a day and come back and look at it. It’s easy to get carried away or lose perspective when editing as our eyes and brain adjust and alter our perception. Giving some space and coming back later gives you a fresh look at the colour correcting and grading you did.

@lilafromyoutube4 жыл бұрын
yes you can! You can either use an adjustment layer to apply it to all the clips, or save it as a preset. Go to the Effect Controls window on the left, right click on the lumetri colour effect and click on save preset. Then, if you go to the effects tab (where you find all the effects), look in your presets folder and then just drag and drop it on another clip :)
