As someone who's father came from Sicily I'm very familiar with pasta. Grew up making our sauce, sausage, and everything in between. This looks delicious and will be the next pasta dish I'm going to make. While this may or may not be traditional for some I believe in preparing food the way you like it. Sometimes I put frozen mixed vegetable in my sauce that both my wife and I enjoy. Another trick I've learned is to purposely make a sauce that's a little thinner and mix in uncooked pasta. When it's all done the pasta is thoroughly coated in sauce that has thickened up because of the starch in the pasta. Thanks for a great recipe. Looking forward to watching more of your recipes!

⭐️THIS IS THE RECIPE YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR⭐️ .....There's a lot of baked spagetti recipes out there. I've reviewed them all. Some just have a basic flavor profile: tomato/cheese/seasoning. This one has DEPTH. The flavor layers of sausage/pepper/onion/cheeses kicks it up. It also has moisture density; critical with pasta, and when reheating...if you actually have any leftovers!..lol. I added a bit of red pepper flakes for a more 'arrabiata' twist . I brought this to a church potluck. It traveled well, not drying out. It disappeared in 10 minutes. The word must have got passed around, and it got DEVOURED by the congregation. I wish I made 2 of them. Could you add a printable recipe in your drop-down menu? That would be a real time saver. This recipe is PERFECT. WELL DONE.🙌

I LOVE how you went straight into the recipe and you sped up the video where you were cutting up the ingredients. Hi from nyc, a 100% Italian gal. Growing up and eating all sorts of ziti type bakes, all using ricotta (with fresh, chopped parsley, grated cheese, mozzarella) and sauce, this is a really nice change! My mom used to try to make lasagne and ziti "healthier" in the 70s using cottage cheese, which I hated lol. So it will always be ricotta in there for me BUT your other cheeses really are a great addition for creaminess. Very different, gonna try!

Everything looks so delicious and I love the punch of protein adding some cottage cheese. The only thing for me, since I don’t have sour cream, I use plain whole Greek yogurt and the addition of a pinch of nutmeg is a must/delicious to the creamy cheese sauce! I've been wanting to try this recipe. I remember making something like this in college but your cheese sauce mixture sound so good and flavorful.
