is flash not crumpling on sword stance not a big deal because it'll crumple on counter hit anyway?

It won't launch. Have to be in NSS. That being said, it's still a good anti-pressure tool, and they have to respect your b2,2 if they get hit with normal flash.

It's still very good. Flash + b2, 2 does chunky damage, and NSS is highly encouraged in this game, better flash being only one of the reasons (as a Yoshi main, 80% of the times I land a flash is in NSS). I love that extra depth they gave Yoshi in this game. Wish we still had the safe ch launcher f1+2 tho.

@@brandlez4669tho in heat SS Flash will launch is cool. And yeah if they get hit by SS flash Yoshi gets chunky damage and heat so you’re right about that 1000% the fact that heat gives all sword moves full power without NSS is wild

Is it just me or did yoshimotsu get nerfed compared to Tekken 7?

He's in a weird spot right now and that's really due to the changes in how the game overall works so it's gonna take time to understand the most effective play styles with him. T8 rewards aggression heavily and so you don't need to play Trollshimitsu like that, but you can if you want. He feels a lot more grounded in this one, but I wouldn't say worse, very different compared to the returning characters though.
