Hey it's the 77 year old grandma, As I understand it they wrote this song, I love it. It is fast becoming my favorite, right up there with Bohemian Rhapsody and Stairway to heaven. Don't get me wrong I am a great fan of Heavy Metal and hard rock, but when you ad even a small orchestra and choir to Rock you get Greatness beyond description. They definitely nailed it.

No it’s just a small orchestra they hired for the video, papa is part of the production of the video. This kids are freaking amazing they grew on me like only a few bands of today has done

From what I understand, their father wrote the orchestral piece. The orchestra is not part of the family, just hired for the song. I agree though, this is probably one of my favorites. I think lyrically, it is one of their more mature pieces and a really well-done arrangement.

Glad you guys enjoyed their new song. This is quickly becoming one of my favorites of theirs (along with "Mars" and "Nothing"). You mentioned how talented they are at such a young age, but can we also take a moment to appreciate their song writing abilities as well? That's a beautifully written piece from lots of angles, and to think that kids that young can write at such a level is amazing. I played this for a work friend as we often sit in our cars before our afternoon shift and bs. He is mainly a country fan but loved this song. He compared Melody's voice to Bonnie Raitt. I can hear it. I listen to all types of music being a child of the 60s. Never know what is going to come out of my phone. Lately it has been a bunch of Liliac.

I have never nerded out on a band as much as these talented young adults. I mean it, I have not bought shirts, posters, nothing in years. But this band is just amazing, that they are this talented at such young ages, and obviously have been training for years. What kind of complaints do mom and dad hear? oh mom, I don't want to be a bad ass rock star that blows people away? Good lord what a great group of talent. Anyway, nerding out! I actually bought an autographed guitar from them, it's just a beginner guitar, but all I really wanted was them to touch it, sign it, and me have it so I can say, I loved them before they were famous. I hope to see them play, though I suspect they will need much larger venues than a club or pier.

Their dad was a vocalist in the 80's, music career didn't take off. Both parents are from the Transylvania area (no joke), hence the name of the band (Liliac). Which translates to "Vampire" if I'm not mistaken. Since you asked.

LILIAC has two meanings in romanian (spoken also in Transilvania): 1. the flower and the tree lilac. 2. bat, the bloodsucker. Name of the band reffers to the second.
