I remember Lillo well. Lillo was my student at Roosevelt High School in Yonkers (I taught Art). Lillo was funny and personalble, it was enjoyable to have him in class. I wish Lillo well and much success.

Small world. He's still living in Yonkers today. I ran into him at Carlo's a little while back.

@@PromotingTheBeat yes it’s a small world. My dad can see Carlos from his window. He lives in a building right behind the public library on Central Avenue.. I technically grew up in the Bronx right over the Yonkers bridge on 241 right by Pepino‘s pizza and what’s even crazier is the same owners John and Carmine now opened a Peppino‘s pizza half a block from Carlos.

Wonderfully said brother.....Jon is clearly a 'GODLY MAN' (Spiritual Warrior). He provides a safe place for dudes to be radically raw and rugged, emotionally naked all the while having their balls blowing in the wind. We're all in it together, we've all felt heart-wrenching pain. The ability to help each other 'heal' is a beautiful and powerful thing. Proof is in the pudding.....Jon's sit-down with Shia has hit something like 10,000,000 views. GOD BLESS US 🙏 🧡💛💚💙💜 Love & Respect__________mykey from toronto

My downfall was alcohol. I started drinking heavy after I graduated college and was making decent money. It went from drinking weekends to drinking everyday. I got 2 DUI’s, lost my car, lost my job, lost my apartment, my girlfriend left me, I owed money everywhere, and I ended up moving back in with my parents. I went through a severe depression but luckily my parents were very supportive. I did AA meetings and I’ve been sober for 14 years now. I now tell anyone that listens to stay away from drugs and alcohol. They’ll destroy your life.

People are very different i guess. I had my issues with booze at a very young age. I started around 14yo. By the time i was 20 i had major issues with it. I quit cold turkey for about 8 years and after that i never had a problem with it. I do drink on occasion but never as much to get me blind drunk. I also dont get the feeling like i need it anymore! On a sidenote, a friendly advice to anyone that might struggle with these things. Dont use any if you are not feeling good. Its going to be downward spiral to escape your depression and what ever else you are struggling with and it will only get worse over time!

As always, my boy Jon hit it out-of-the-ballpark. Nicely done broski - Great Interview. Was stok'd to hear Lillo talk about how he felt he was saved by an 'Angel' (NYPD Police Officer....Daniel Enchautegui). In return, doing his best to honor him and his family by serving other troubled, at risk young men, the community and ultimately GOD. In my humble opinion, that's what separates the men from the boys - REAL men own their sh*t, take responsibility and do their best to make amends - ALWAYS IN ALL WAYS!!! GOD BLESS 🙏 🧡💛💚💙💜 Love & Respect________mykey from toronto

He's a smart dude. Just made bad choices. I actually grew up with him as little kids... He lived a block away from me... the bigger kids on the block used to make us fight for jolly ranchers.. lol. I have a lot in common with Lillo. We also dated the same girl, and went to the same high school. Haven't seen or talked to Lillo in many years, but good to see he's doing well -- and helping people -- and spreading good messages.

Issue here is his talent wasnt acting IMO. He is an amazing storyteller and his real purpose in life seems to be helping other addicts away from cameras and Hollywood and all that attention. He never wasted his talent. He got a lucky break which broke him, and seemingly he discovered his REAL talent which was helping people on the bottom.

Great episode, Jon. It's great to finally hear this story directly out of Lillo's mouth without it feeling like a dam interrogation. I've loved A Bronx Tale since I first saw it as a teenager and I wish he'd done more movies back then but this is a great reminder that "Life Happens", none of us are perfect and all we can do is try to be a better person today than what we were yesterday. Love the work you guys do and have done (including the stuff outside of hollyweird) Cheers Lillo and Jon!

He’s always been a nice guy met him a few times in the nightclubs in NYC in the late 90s. Life imitates art is his story. “Wasted talent…” but he’s back and he’s determined to make up for wasted time and past sins. The chemistry you two got NEEDS to be on screen with a good script. You can see it in him. He can act. Hope he gets to where he needs to not just to entertain us again but to fulfill his journey of service and soul redemption. Lillo is a good dude. The first movie I ever did was with Terrell Hicks; it was called Forbidden Fruits. She was the main actress in A Bronx Tale. Jon is also a good dude. I met him and talked to him about acting. That guy is a real one.
