My downfall was alcohol. I started drinking heavy after I graduated college and was making decent money. It went from drinking weekends to drinking everyday. I got 2 DUI’s, lost my car, lost my job, lost my apartment, my girlfriend left me, I owed money everywhere, and I ended up moving back in with my parents. I went through a severe depression but luckily my parents were very supportive. I did AA meetings and I’ve been sober for 14 years now. I now tell anyone that listens to stay away from drugs and alcohol. They’ll destroy your life.

People are very different i guess. I had my issues with booze at a very young age. I started around 14yo. By the time i was 20 i had major issues with it. I quit cold turkey for about 8 years and after that i never had a problem with it. I do drink on occasion but never as much to get me blind drunk. I also dont get the feeling like i need it anymore! On a sidenote, a friendly advice to anyone that might struggle with these things. Dont use any if you are not feeling good. Its going to be downward spiral to escape your depression and what ever else you are struggling with and it will only get worse over time!

Was stok'd to hear Lillo talk about how he felt he was saved by an 'Angel' (NYPD Police Officer....Daniel Enchautegui). In return, doing his best to honor him and his family by serving other troubled, at risk young men, the community and ultimately GOD. In my humble opinion, that's what separates the men from the boys - REAL men own their sh*t, take responsibility and do their best to make amends - ALWAYS IN ALL WAYS!!!
