I'm a 62 year old rocker from the 70's ! However, I always loved ABBA! I love them more now, than ever! They have endless hits as far as I'm concerned!

As far as I know "Chiquitita" is Spanish for "Little Girl" 💙 Brilliant song, magnificent vocals by the ladies 💗

I remember when Abba was on the radio "all the time".... and of course singing along was required back in the 70's....it's nice to see the younger generation enjoying such unique talent!

I think that if Lilly doesn't discover Abba, and so much other great music from the past, she will be missing out in a big way, so I intend to help her discover it, and hopefully we'll be able to share some of those discoveries on here.

Lilly is so cute & adorable. Like The Beatles, Abba songs will doubtless continue to excite new generations in the way classical music has. Enjoy your videos. God bless.

"I've been waiting for you" It's one of the very underrated songs of ABBA.

I was hoping to watch a first reaction. Flashback 1976, Australia. 10-year-old schoolboy. When ABBA came out, there were kids who loved ABBA, there were kids who hated ABBA, including those loved to hate those who loved ABBA! (I was the in the first category!) Don't ask me what my favorite is. I don't think I can reduce it down to just one. Today, two generations later, I think ABBA, though since disbanded, has well and truly earned that definition of _timeless._ enjoyed by many born born since. Lilly's ABBA journey could be a long one. There's a lot of great songs to run through.

Yes, well most of our videos would be a first reaction by Lilly, but I did explain at the start of this video what this one was. I hope you still found it mildly interesting.

I'm glad she brought up the snowman :)

I thought the fact that right at the beginning, when she told everybody that her mum had gone to she shop to buy pillows, is what gave away what sort of reaction you were going to see.

Enjoy your double act. Loved Lilies pertinent question about whether Chicatita is the snowman. I still don't know who or what Chicatita is, or was.

So Heart warming to see Grand Father with Grand Daughter together listening to one of ABBA:s Masterpieces. I'm also on an Exciting Journey showing my 10 Year old Grand Daughter the Beauty of ABBA's Music! Anyway: Here's Your ABBA Crash Course in pronouncing their most difficult Swedish names: Agnetha and Björn. Agnetha, (the Blond). She sings using her Tongue = "Tongnetha" = Angnetha = Agnetha. OK? Björn, (with the Guitar). He Earns money = BjEarns = Björn. OK? Benny and Anni-Frid are easier to pronounce I think. ABBA is Really Pronounced with the Stress on the last "A". Like this: abbA´. OK? Good Luck! Yes, I'm Swedish - and I saw ABBA live 1975, just as their Rocket Career Took Off - and that Rocket will Never Ever Crash I Believe. In My Heart's Absolute Music Center there are Mozart, Bach, Händel, The Beatles and ABBA. Period. You Really don't Need anything Else. 😇💖🎶🎸🎹🎤🥁

Very nice reaction and of course your junior assistant made it ever so much cuter. You just need to fix the problem with your microphone. I could barely hear or understand you. 🥺
@Lilly8Listens2 жыл бұрын
You may have a point about the microphone. After doing a bit of a sound check, I realised that the video's sounded bloody awful, and after a while I realised that the microphone was picking up the sound coming from Lilly's headphones, and it was producing a horrible echo, so I put the microphone on the floor to try and solve that problem, but I didn't realise it made us difficult to hear. We're learning all the time
@tconnolly98202 жыл бұрын
@@Lilly8Listens It's all a learning experience. I was only being constructively critical about a technical issue.
