In my case, most of the time I've told my parents that I didn't hear them, I really couldn't hear a word that they were saying. *Mom: Says something to me but it's incomprehensible to me for some reason.* *Me:* What? *Mom: Repeats herself but I still don't know what she said.* *Me Thinking:* Yeah, I have no idea what my mom is saying, so I'm just going to resume my original train of thought because being in my "fantasy world" or as I call it my happy place is usually much better than dealing with my alcoholic mother. When I needed my mom's help with something, I usually never received any. I only received it once with a book report in fifth grade, but that's because she was 100% sober that day. Usually she was buzzed, drunk, or hungover when I needed her help with my homework, so most of the time, I just gave up with asking her for it, when I actually had homework that is. I almost never had homework in any of my classes. When I did, I usually forgot about it. *Me Stuck On A History Problem or Something:* Mom, can you help me with my homework, please? *Mom:* What was that? *Me After Figuring Out A Problem I Was Stuck On:* Never mind, I got it. *Also Me Thinking:* Why do I even bother asking her for help anyway? Forget this craziness, I give up with asking for help. *Me In High School Thinking:* Since I live with my dad now, should I start asking him for help with my homework assignments? *Dad: Complaining about a coworker he hates being partnered up with on the ambulance. It's one of those days where work was so bad for him that he verbally takes it out on me right as he walks through the door. He then apologizes to me for it once he's calmed down.* *Me Thinking:* Never mind, I'm just going to continue trying to figure it out myself when I have homework or when I even remember that I have homework at all. *Also Me In High School: Plays video games or watches TV instead of doing homework at home. Junior and senior year I go out to eat and do a little shopping after school when I'm able to. On days I have karate, I go straight home after school. Senior year, I take advantage of my early dismissals and enjoy my free time after F period.*

I find it really odd that many people around my age (12-14) who commented have friends their age with all of this ridiculous ish. Everyone I know is roughly the same as me: tops and jeans, occasionally a phone, a few wear makeup on special occasions and everyone except some girl who's probably lying is single. We don't do drugs and wear booty shorts like you all think. Me: Makeup, some of the latest fashion, sweatpants (not big ones), hate jeans and tight stuff, highlights, shopping from time to time, writing, art, cursing, a crush, video games, Instagram, phone, dresses, etc. Yeah. I used to be an anime addict and fangirl but there is other things then being trash. I'm glad I got out of that stuff, honestly. Anime shows do somewhat mistreat girls in their shows...I'm not gonna even go on. But, hey, everyone is different so If you like anime, booty shorts, dating, whatever. Go like it. Its your life and it'll only affect YOU and your future. So yeah, I like your video by the way :)
