After Rock Bottom, Tijuana Twister, Wallsplat GS (Shining Torpedo), and Struggle Combination, if the opponent wakes up backwards, sidestep towards the direction of their feet as they were when they were laying on the floor - Deadly Boomerang is guaranteed. Before T8 the only tekken i used to play was tekken 3 with my cousin, who used to main King. He knew all the grabs and chain grabs at that time which made playing against him a nightmare cause i had no idea how to break them lol.... he made me fall in love with this character at that point and you renew that love for King today. With the latest King buff to his block out of jaguar sprint, my favorite bait tactic as of late (when theres a lot of space between us) is to do the full point & sprint animation to bait out a panic punish. The buff makes it a lot safer to do so!

Also fun fact about Tijuana twister is if the opponent holds back to get up, kings back+4 will hit them from the side due to its active frames so the opponent cannot block it. And if they stand up you're plus 2 on block so it's still in your favor

After rock bottom you can also do a confirm boomerang kick (up up 3+4 or down down 3+4) you just need to sidestep towards their feet!

idk why but I've always struggling to perform giant swing on pad. but I once saw a video of how to do it. so the input for giant swing is forward half circle 1. and the way I do it is forward, back, down back, back, forward + 1. so it's a quarter circle and skipped down forward. and ofc blue spark will not trigger if I use this. but there are scenario where I perform quarter circle giant swing and my character sidestep to the right and perform giant swing after that sidestep. I've been using this trick from tekken 7. if anyone out there is struggling like I did, I hope this trick might help! ;) currently still working on how to do the giant swing properly tho, gotta need those bluespark for extra style points 💪

I have been catching people who get up and stand block with a 1+2 haymaker out of the muscle buster. Then when they start madhing to interrupt it I start doing dragon step into haymaker I know they aren't guaranteed but its different get up mind games i like

As of now, it's not good. It's breakable and the mixup afterwards can be defended against. May as go for any other 1+2 break throw (mainly Muscle Buster or iSW).

But anyways, they just mean that if you do the actual inputs, a blue spark will appear and you’ll do a hut of extra damage. If not, you can just press 1 or 2 and they’ll have to guess on the ones that they can break

Do you ever use the extended-range versions of the basic throws that King can do? (f1+3, f2+4)?

Situationally they can be good on a hard read for callout out heat bursts since their range is actually pretty decent, and even though they are easy to break they are garenteed vs armor moves. Potentially they are also good as an i12 punish on armor moves. Throws work as block punishment for amor moves - ideally you would GS but that is hard. Other than that Kings generic 1+3 switches position with the opponent when they break it, so if my back is to the wall and I really don't want to be there I might do a 1+3 just to get out of wall pressure -- though usually a uf 1+2 or GS is the better choice

What's the situation where you would use Rock Bottom over Muscle Buster? Both have the same break, both seem to offer good damage and oki, but muscle buster is faster and easier to perform. What am I missing?

One has your back turned after doing it, the other is facing them on their side. Also, RB is likely a better option if your opponent is cornered. You keep them in place, muscle buster pull allow them to escape and essentially put you on the corner.
