Tip for beginners: until you've maximized your combo game, a single b3 after your launcher and before a running grab finisher, does solid damage. I revert to this when my opponent's internet connection gets spotty. Super reliable, and honestly gets pretty close damage-wise to the more complex options.

1 thing he didn't mention about blue spark throws is that the speed isn't the only thing. They're like electrics with Mishimas, in that the last direction and the throw input need to be done at the same time. Absolutely love the vid by the way.

this actually helps alot. my biggest downside with king is i suck at gaint swing/ ti twister imput. i find when i slow it down i get it alot easier. even blue spark most of the time. but when im in a match i just get mashed out of it alot lol

One thing that muscle armor can be used for is, if you absorb an attack with a quick recovery and the opponent hesitates for a follow up, you can catch them with a throw. This usually catches them off guard leaving them unprepared for a throw break.

Thanks for this content. I started in T7 and watched live as you dominated in Evo, and inspired me to continue playing King. A lot of the King's I ran into online prior to finding you just played super corny, and were really annoying and disrespectful. I learned his kit solo and really enjoyed his neutral and throw mix, I loved his Hopkick and his Df2,1 was just a cool string. After discovering you I was super inspired and loved the way you handled neutral, safe and aggressive in the most subtle, quick ways possible. I could tell your execution was way better than mine, but continued to practice. I watched your videos and your playstyle and copied it as closely as I could, developing my own style and approach as I got better, but stopped playing him in T7 because AK was around, and I'm a mishima main. Fast forward to now and I'm learning from you again, for free. Thank you Majin, you're amazing. Can't wait to take these learned strats into ranked. The F 1+4 chest bump and being able to FF 1+2 out of jabs were my favorite things I learned. Still practicing the conversion out of DF2,1, for some reason I do the sidestep I think too fast or not fast enough and miss my jab. Thanks for being awesome
