I do agree because I have a 17 year old son that thinks he can come and go when he feels like it now don’t get me wrong he doesn’t give me problems but he just wants to be out kind of late and I told him don’t play with me and get home now he text me and told me he going to be 18 soon and I told him what do that means what every time I tell you to get home you better get home and if you don’t like my rules then there’s the door because my mother always said if you feel you are grown there’s the door and you are going to respect my wishes and I try to tell him that sometimes you can be in the wrong place at the wrong time and he doesn’t want me to meet his friend think that I would embarrass him, or treat him like a baby around his friends but I need to know there back ground and what they are doing with their life because I don’t want my son to get hurt or caught up in something that he doesn’t has to do with and I know my child will make the right decision but it’s just I need to know what your friends are doing because my son is not around them every day because he works and he only gets with them on his off day so I try to explain to him my reason for wanting to meet them and talk with them because I want to know what kind of life style they are living and what are they doing with their life and there’s free time because would to say what they do when he not around and I don’t want my son to get hurt or get in trouble for no what else and I know that me and his brother and sister raise him very well and to be a leader and to make his on decision and to stay away from trouble because it’s easy to get in but hard to get out and it’s so much is happening now day and so many young kids are losing their life to danger or death and my son has not giving me in problems but it’s just the time he wants to come in when he not working but he has to go to school and I’m not going to allow him to come in my house at midnight know way in hell because I want to know what you doing at all times and if you don’t answer my calls you going to wish you did because I’m not having one you give them a inch they try to take advantage of you and my son know i will bend over backwards for him but I will not let you disrespect me or have control over me because my mom raised 8 kids and we never gave her any problems growing up and she will tell you if you don’t respect her house and her rules there’s the door and don’t look back and not days you have to be involved in what you child is doing with there life you have to be in control and know what they are doing and know there were about because so much is happening out here and the world is not like it was when I was coming up kids are killing kids and out here doing you know what with no one to talk to and help and guide their life and I tell and talk with my son about life is so precious and the world who destroy you if you let it but you just have to make the right decisions and live your life the right way and always respect your elders and treat people the right way the way you will want to be treated and also stay focus and be positive and be humble and I always let my son know that I’m always here for him and anytime he needs to talk I’m here to listen and I will support him the best way I know how but he will respect my wishes and my rules and when he if that he can’t do it there’s the door but one thing for sure that’s i will not give him to the streets it’s always a way to solve your problems and I know what to do with my child and he will not be on the streets I will find a solution for my situation I will try my hardest to find a program job corps or a safe place for him to be in but I will not let him be on the street because he wants to be hard handed and come in the house when he wants to that the only problem I deal with right now so I’m trying to work this out now before things get worse than what it’s is but I pray and ask God to watch over him and keep his arms around him and keep him out of harm way and protect him from danger and don’t get me wrong he not a problem child but sometimes you have to get on top of the situation right then and there and just know that you can’t say what your child is doing wrong when you not around him but I can say that when he around me I don’t have any problems with him just the curfew time with him and me but kids can change there attitude, and their behavior when you are not around them but I pray and give it all to God and have faith and trust that everything will work it way out so just pray for your children at all times because the world out here today is nothing nice and our kids can be at the wrong place at the wrong time so it’s is important that you always know your kids whereabouts their friends and who they are with at all times and if my son doesn’t want to let me know here the things with me I’m not going to have a debate with you at all you will not cross my threshold that means you can’t go anywhere until you let me know we’re and who you with I have to meet them and talk with them and if you can’t do as I ask you well you will be at home until you do what I mean and respect my wishes so I pray for any mother that going through something with there teenage kids I pray for you all Just give it’s to God and trust and have faith in God AMEN 🙏
