Just for kicks, I went to the same exact spot you caught Feebas in this video and found one on my first try. That means it took me a total of maybe fifteen minutes to find and catch a Feebas. I'm feeling rather blessed.

I found mine at the top of the waterfalls. Thanks BTW :) Tip:Try to reel atleast 5 Pokemon successfully every single tile. If there's no feebas, go to the next tile. Use Super rod since old rod reels anything above and below water which makes everything slower. And always start from top (above waterfall) to bottom.

@Khan Singh you might be pressing the A button too much. Just press it once when the phrase "oh a bite" something like that, then it will repeat with "......." then press A once again, till the pokemon is ready to battle.

You can get the “not even a nibble” with any rod, it just means no pokémon felt like getting caught. It has nothing to do with the spot you’re on, just try again. And the “it got away...” means you either didn’t press the A button when you got a “bite” or pressed it to soon/late. Don’t press the A button when your character moves the rod (struggles to haul in the pokémon), press the A button when it says “Oh! A bite!” at the bottom of the screen. It’s possible you have to do that multiple times.

@thefalloutfan1 heres the fun bit, its different for every cartridge and randomizes depending on the phrases in Dewford, in other words you have a 1 out of 400 chance that somebody will have ONE of the six places you find it, so sadly, were meant toscramble around and hope that you can find it.

When you go into a building/change routes the latias will move so you should 1. Get some Repels (wont affect latias) 2. Make sure you have already encountered him once (to see where he is in pokedex) 3. Get on the edge of 2 routes and go back and forth between the two each time checking your pokedex to see if the latias is in your route. do this long enough and he will end up at the same route as you eventualy. 4. Then just use a repel and go find him in grass oh ya, put him to sleep first

WHOOP WHOOP I just caught a Feebas after going about 1/3 down the river. Here's some good advice that speeded up my catch time: Use an old rod. The encounter rate for feebas is the same (50%) no matter which rod you are using, and the old rod reels in pokemon much faster (you only need to press A once). This really sped up the process for me. And only fish around 3-4 times per square, it should pop up.

MORE- Water them a lot but ive heard this doesnt matter so you can try watering 12 times to see if it works for you to get more berries. Once your trees grow plant another. And if you get 3 or more in that one plant another. It very time consuming and you must be patient so it would be best to get feebas while your gym challenging or at the battle tower to past time. Once they all grow go to lilycove and make pokeblocks and feed your feebas. Rash, mild and quiet natures like blue or indigo.

yes, you can use any rod, i suggest the Old Rod myself, on a tile that actually contains Feebas hes a little more common than Magikarp would be, just make sure to systematically fish each of the 400 or so tiles on the route at least 3-5 times each, and by that i mean 3-5 Pokemon Encounters per tile

@kyunyaacupcake Basically Feebas are very rare. The river leading up to Fortree and the lake just before that both have 100 tiles. Of those 100 tiles only *6* of them will have Feebas on them. On the actual 6 tiles they are fairly common but you must find one of those 6 before you can find your Feebas. These 6 tiles are different for everyone.

i spent 2 days randomly fishing for feebas then i went tile by tile starting from the waterfall fishing 5 pokemon at each tile to make sure i didn't skip over feebas. i found the tile within the first hour :) im still only on 5 badges so u dont need to have completed anything more and its less tiresome if you take a pokemon there to train in the process. good luck!!

Pretty much what I've been doing. Evolved a Gulpin into a Swalot, a Goldeen into a Seaking, a Magikarp into a freaking Gyarados, and am currently working on evolving a Pikachu into a Raichu. It's risen five levels so far with me. When I evolve it, I'll take the egg it laid at the daycare center and walk around growing berries til I hatch a Pichu. I'm just trying to play this round of Pokemon by being as autistic as hell.

i suggest the Old Rod as its less hassle to use when searching for Feebas as any pokemon it snags will only need you to press A once to reel em in, whereas Good and Super Rods may require multiple presses of A per pokemon

Go to Pacifidlog Town and talk to the old guy staring out a window. If he says nothing's there, you can't go to Mirage Island, if he says that something's out in the distance, Surf east of Pacifidlog until you get to Mirage Island. It's really a matter of chance.

i don't know if you found your answer yet, but basically, whenever it says it "Oh, it's a bite!" you need to immediately press A. once! any more will let it get away. and then more dots will appear, be ready to press A when it says "Oh! It's a bite!" again. At most you'll only have to do this 3 times

@liauvc85 rayquazas in the spear tower thats to the right of pacigfolog town, though its kinda hard to find at first when ur looking try sticking to the top of the screen and make sure u save ur masterball for it cause its the hardest of the 3 to catch. and if u want to get the other 2 go to the weather station to the left of fortree and talk to the guy at the top in front of the computer. he'll tell u that its rainy/dry at a certain route, then go to that route and look for a cave or dive

thanks lol most of the time i dont use anything other than pokeballs. on occasions i've had to use a great ball (scarmory, walemur) and ultraballs (regis). other than that i caught all my pokemon with pokeballs. its a challenge, but thats what makes it fun

Oh, and misingno is actually a slang that the game uses for "Missing number" The game has a random number generator that, as its name states, generates a series of numbers, and these numbers are coherent to the numbers assigned to pokemon However, the game will sometimes loop this generator, and come up with 0, and there isn't a pokemon with the number 0, so, it comes out as "Missing number", or, "Misingno"

ooooh i watchd your video and today i decided to... CATCH THAT FEEBAS! then, i went to fishing. i went to that rock near to a 'grassy place' (that 's got a bit of grass so you can walk on it but its so small), i surfed 2 steps to my left (i was near the 'ground' (orilla in spanish)), i fished and a male feebas appeared! i wanted a female one, i fished again in that place and at the 3rd time, i catched GIARA! in route 119, there are a total of 6 tiles where you can catch it. but even if you're in the right tile, there's about 30%guarantee you'll encounter it. so I fought 3 poke's on every tile. that way, it'll take longer, but the chance you'll miss it is slim ^^ also, the 6 tiles change when the trendy saying changes on the island with the 2nd gym. So if you checked a few tiles, and change the trendy saying, you have to start all over again. it took me some days to catch one. good luck

Read the description. Feebas only shows up in 6 squares in that river area, and it changes if you change the cool phrase.

Tell you something amazing: 2-3 days ago, I was looking for Feebas since I didn't have any, there was no rain at 119 for the whole day and I caught like, 20 Feebases in less than 1 hour and a half o.o Most were boys and didn't like blue blocks. Only 2 did and now we have a Milotic in a day! So amazing to get 5 Feebases in a row o.o

U have to fish in every tile like at least 4-5 times. This may be time consuming but it's the only way to find it. After finding 1 it's really easy finding another one in the same spot u found the first one!

also you probly want the Waterfall HM first before trying to find a Feebas as without it theres many tiles you WONT be able to fish on which may be part or all of the 6 random tiles

For those who don't know how to get Feebs, You can only get him in Route 119 using the Super Rod and he only appears on 6 squares of the water (Which may I add, randomly changes every time the trendy phrase is changed.) I think this could be the most irritating pokémon to catch. But then again it's not much harder to catch, if not easier then Surskit on R/S/E (1% chance of finding it on all routes.)

That's because Feebas spawns in the same 8 or so spots in the river. Those spots won't change unless you mix records or you change your Dewford trend.

@Monkeyfish48 u need max beauty on it and then just level it up once. its tricky though since u need to use berries that give a high amount of beauty points and feebas needs to be past a certain amount of beauty points. i think i used kelpsy berries as a berry good enough to help it up its beauty.

It's a shiny Rayquaza. It's a 1/8192 chance of finding a shiny Pokemon. So if want a shiny Rayquaza, save it's green (its regular color), reset the game until it's shiny. However, this can take from minutes to weeks to do.

I probably caught like, 30 of them...since then I've restarted my game, but if I ever want another feebas, I trade with my Colosseum game, where I've stocked quite a few of them.

So I thought it was the spots along the shore that you had to fish from. When I go back to fish from my surfing pokemon, do I have to fish those spots again? Like does it have to be fishing from the back of the pokemon to work?

You need a Super rod. A Super rod will fish out anything on the ocean floor, a Good rod will fish out anything in between the surface and the ocean floor, and an Old rod will fish out anything nearby the surface of the water. You can get a Super Rod in Mosdeep city. There will be a few houses near the space canter, one of them will have a fisherman in it. talk to the fisherman and he will give you the Super rod. Also, Feebas is extremely annoying to catch. Don't worry, we all have that problem.
