lil peep manifested he would "live forever" through his music, and he was right. I feel like there's a certain collective of people who feels so at home and at peace when listening to his music. Ive listned to his music all day everyday for 5 years now. It never grows old, and there's nothing else like it. I feel like most people write him off as shallow who just sings about drugs and women, but I don't know how to describe it there's so much more to his music. Like an undertone message, that brings peace and comforts me like nothing else. Honestly the level to which it resonates makes me almost a fanatic but I feel like that's pretty popular with peep fans, its absolutely unbelievable.

I met him, Ghostemane, Fat Nick, and Don Krez on a rooftop in south LA in summer 2017. The underground was on a rocket up at the time 🚀💕🔥 Fat Nick had a free secret show and Lil Tracy performed with Peep for his set. Sadly peep died months later touring for Come Over When You’re Sober (the work that got me into him. It blew my mind how established their fan base was already). Just a few weeks before that show, I saw xxxtentacion play his debut concert in LA with Ski, and damn near all of Broward, fully sold out. The energy of that night was insane. Someone jumped off the balcony and the floor was shaking from the crowd. I had just turned 20 and was a metal head my whole teens, but my little brother had his ear straight to the underground since 2014 and put me on to the scene by buying us tickets non stop to all the shows we could go to. We’ve seen all of our favorite artists at least 3 times. $B, Ghoste, Pouya, Ramirez. It was a golden era. It’s been an honor to watch them all explode and reach new heights. Even peep. 🖤

This song specifically reminds me of hanging with my freinds way back, listening to this when it first came out. Everyone was quiet, just enjoying the sunrise wile we drove past the airport to a new life, many miles away from home. Miss my brothers and sister, my best freinds in the world. Was transitioning to a young adult, just trying to find myself. Peep helped mould me to someone who will always try and be positive no matter whats going on. @@Qiyokuu you could argue peep was indeed inspired by cloudrap artists, such as Yung Lean, Lil B, Milkavelli, etc... However, peep did develop his own characteristic style so it sounds nothing like other artists. And regardless of where his inspiration came from he did pretty much take the underground cloudrap scene to a more mainstream view. And while this songs are cloudrap some of them are emo rap, which was also heavily popularized by Peep
