2 cans cherry pie filling
1 can Cherry Coke
1 cup chocolate chips
cake mix- I used Duncan Hines Butter Fudge Recipe

I've used the 2 ingredient soda drink cake recipe for years! Putting pie filling underneath is a great addition! Great recipe , you. Thanks for posting! PS....I was a baker for years and now in my retirement I refuse to bake anything else! Lol!

Wow was going to buy Cherry Pie Filling from Walmart and the whole dad gum shelf was empty, no pie filling left except for Pumpkin!!! Fortunately, I had a frozen bag of Cherries in my freezer so I cooked myself up some pie filling. I had to tweek this and put in a layer of cream cheese. I can't get enough cream cheese. Cannot wait for this to get done cooking. Thank you for sharing

My variation…sugar free cherry pie filling bought at Walmart…Sf cake mix with a cup of cocoa to make it chocolate, mixed with a Diet Coke coke. Added a bit of cherry extract..and voila a sf Black Forest cake!!!
