This is one of your best works. This house is the DREAM. Makes me want to run away dramatically in a flowy dark gown. ALSO Warren's dynamic with Jace and the Grim is sooooo Nosferatu coded. I love all of this. Amazing.

I love that you keep lovingly referring to the 'Penthorse', and it's especially funny to me because of the simple fact that the horse really only lived in that penthouse for like 5 in game hours LOL. I mean not lol, RIP lil buddy. Love this house Kayla, it's very dark academia and super perfect for Warren. Can't wait to watch this "season" of the nightmare legacy. Thank you for continuously putting out such wonderful content!

I lived in a house where the ivy grew through the french doors and onto the walls. The walls were aqua and the ivy loved it inside during the winters. Plants just grow around my mother and it was her room. We all just joked about improving internal air quality.

I appreciate the celsius conversion 😂 With sympathy from Canada 🍁 (Also, never let people tell you it's not that cold. When spaces aren't made for those temps it's brutal. Our summers are starting to regularly hit over 30c [80-ish f] regularly and we suffer with too many windows and no AC or sun shades)

the house looks amazing!! I love how it's not too big of a lot yet you still manage to fit in a "secret garden" for Nina. and I love the idea of her little house becoming a residential rental later!

You could ask your nearby family and friends to help you hit up your local thrift stores and put together baskets of (washed) blankets and sweaters to have on standby for your guests, and then donate them all again afterward! The posed photos could still be the way you planned, but then the candid photos would all be really cute, funny, and memorable, the more so if it's all mismatched and wild. No one really remembers a "perfect" event; it's the quirky, special moments that stand out years later, and you'll enjoy the quirky photos more than you think.

Servos have soul's journeys, they're just hidden. The pop ups still come up in notifications, and you just have to accomplish aspirations to imcrease the level. So, hypothetically, you could rebirth Nina into a human if you want to go with the story of her longing to be a human. I think it could be really sweet.

Omg the bug you talked about happened to me with a platform. I built an entire house on a platform and gave it a big 4x4 shower using the Lovestruck shower doors. Somehow, when I didn’t notice the shower ended up with no platform so it was 2 stages below the rest of the bathroom. The game would not let me raise it!! Crashed multiple times. I don’t remember how I even managed to make it happen eventually lol.

It's been a while since i've watched your nightmare legacy, i have a lot of catching up to do! i completely forgot about nina :o but now im wanting to do a story about a lonely mad scientist who creates a servo companion to help him raise his kid and play primarily as that servo. i think it'd be interesting, kinda like a reverse legacy challenge where it's the servo helping further another sim's family line instead of their own. amazing build, as always! the red and green do not look christmas-y at all lol. my favorite part is the covered walkway leading to nina's cottage, i love that idea!

i live in texas trust me kayla you're not alone in ppl not taking our cold weather seriously we have to drip the faucets to keep our pipes from freezing at night this time of year bc it goes under 30 F (below 0 C for non americans) and i'm still traumatized from the deep freeze we had in 2021 bc we're not prepared for snow let alone so much of it that the power went out for a week we're used to it being summer like 3/4 of the year we don't have have spring or fall really it's just summer then sudden winter then sudden summer again and the humidity makes it worse no matter which season so i completely understand how cold it is for you bc same here
@Noel.Chmielowiec10 сағат бұрын
I hate it when people are like that. It goes the same when people hear that we had summers in eastern/central Europe with over 35 C degree heat and we can't breathe, but we mostly don't have AC and our houses are made to retain heat. Also in my country there's an issue of concrete everywhere, so if it is that warm it retains the heat around the buildings and it's like living in the oven. It's easier for me to live in -20C in winters than the summers. If the architecture is not made for that weather there's nothing to joke about. The same if you are not used to that weather and it changes so rapidly those days.

I haven't had the issue with things not placing, but I completely stopped playing the Sims 4 lately because of that saving bug! It happens to me both in live and build mode, and I genuinely can't tell what's making it happen. No matter if I have cc installed, no matter what save... it keeps doing it. I lost at least 5 hours of gameplay in a week despite saving every 15 minutes or so and I just couldn't take it anymore

Regarding the space heaters for the wedding, in this case it is better to spend the money and not need it in the end than save the money and have the weather ruin the party. Get those as soon as you can - you'll be able to relax about the weather for the time being, and one less thing to worry about is already a good investment of money in my book. (I was planning the entire week to go to the pool with my friend, and it was hot the entire week until the day of the pool, where it became cold and cloudy. Trust me, you'll want to be prepared for bad weather)

Honestly my first thought when you said your cat was behind your pc was maybe she's cold, I'm pretty sure they're desert animals so it doesn't take much for them to cold, but also 30s is suuuuper cold for cats (and humans too honestly). My cat refuses to go on walks below 40s. Hope your kitty is staying nice and warmed by the pc!

I get it. A lot of people underestimate Australian winters. I’m from Canberra and it’s gets really cold in winter. Our houses aren’t insulated so it’s just as cold inside as it does outside sometimes even colder. We also get Antarctic winds from the south and that wind cuts right through you. Obviously it’s getting colder in others places, it’s just people underestimates Aussie winters.

As an Ex Floridian who moved up to the north east, Florida cold is EXTREMELY different type of cold mainly because of a few factors 1) Ocean breezes means CONSTANT WINDCHILL 2) Wet. Wet. WET. I've gone outside to shovel snow in a light open jacket up here, but would bundle up in a heavy jacket with a windbreaker and gloves and everything. Florida cold is its own breed.

As someone who was born in florida and visits family down there every winter... Yeah they underestimate the humidity mixed with cold. My brother and I also once decided to swim in an outdoor unheated pool and it takes a certain type of overconfidence to follow through with it and a certain type of stubborness to insist it's fine when you're in the pool. I say, because it was me.

My brothers wedding was in March and it was surprisingly cold. They were in a barn with no windows and of course open doors, and they only needed like 4 of those space heaters for the 70-80 ish people that attended. So I think if you have one in every major corner and a couple in between, you’ll probably be fine! Tents can hold heat once you get a bunch of breathing people in there 😂

I had the game crash like that, recently, my household owns a retail lot I am trying to build with a magic/ tarot card theme. It has a back room styled to look like a fortune teller's room and the front has crystals, jewelry, potions and since my current legacy heir went on vacation in the jungles (I was trying to spend some of my legacy money) there is also a good chunk of artifacts from jungle adventures there too, all for sale. (I plan to save the lot when I am done to use on other save files so there is less hunting for collectables or just a place to purchase potions/ jewelry.) Well, the problem with saving only occurs when I try to do the roof. Not sure why but the game does not want to put a roof on the lot. I can do whatever else I want but if I put a roof on the game just breaks, exactly how you described. Won't save correctly and I can't really do anything else, it just freezes. I even had to restart my computer to get it to shut down. All because of the roof. My shop is in Ravenwood and I have been having a lot of glitches associated with the new pack, like Sims refusing to Woohoo, which sucks when it is only my legacy heir, but ya, IDK there just seems to be something my game doesn't like about Ravenwood.

Idk if Simsie will see this but she should definitely check how quickly the space heaters get rented out!! You and everyone else in Orlando with an outdoor event is probably thinking the same thing!
