I wish we had those kind of pull down ladders people usually have in their roof into attics, so we could still access the space in the roof without the ladders looking stupid in the middle of the downstairs.

Yea, I feel like the ladders in the sims look kinda imposing. I wish we had pull down ones and ones with trap doors so you could put a ladder up to like a roof balcony without it looking like rain could just fall into your living room. And with this pack especially I think it would be so cute if you could have a secret attic space for your teens or kids that you have to pull down the ladder for so it feels more secret and not just like an invitation to climb the very imposing ladder.

The bedroom furniture of this pack is probably the thing I'm the most excited about, I've always thought that bedroom furnishing can help to make the Sims'personality and style shine through, so it's really fun that this pack will place an emphasis on that I'm thinking of having this be the first pack I'll buy, and this is one of the reasons why

I never noticed the sims lacking in the bedroom furniture department but after seeing all the new furniture and decorations, I feel like they really work to show your sim’s personality. It makes all the other stuff feel boring and like they don’t really show much personality.

Nah she’s contemplating if they Match but my room has 5-7 different wood tones,the walls are green, the actual color scheme was originally purple now it’s just everything, and the freaking curtains are teal!! But all of that is the least of your worries I have a wolf shrine🙃 it’s lovely I didn’t mean to make it but I did and it’s just there😌

i actually really loved how the color palette of the living space was shaping up with the striped chairs and the colorful new couch! tbh id love to see lilsimsie do a challenge of like, no neutral tone furniture or something, incorporating more colors into the living space furniture rather than having the rug be the main colorful thing

I feel like the couch looked a bit too stylish and more teenagey. And you don’t usually have your teenager decorating the house. I think her picking the other couch brought the whole room down a bit and made it feel more calm and simple like an adult would design. I liked that she ended up picking the other couch because the first couch felt a bit too over the top trying to incorporate the new pack but the other couch made all the other items blend in more and made it more subtle and makes it fit in nicer.

But for real this time the lighting totally sucks. But I guess it's because it's an early access version and it's not supposed to look like that. The shadows are super dark.

Tbh I would so much rather with showing off new packs seeing no budget builds. Because when you have to replace half the stuff with base game to fit the budget, it doesn't feel like the pack shines enough. I guess I just wanna see you have fun with the new stuff stress free and to its full potential.

That Would be great! I mean you can adjust the body mass right, so it makes sense to be able to adjust the sims height too.

I've been on a building spree too! Currently redoing the Strangerville bar... and part of the upstairs is a gym! It 2 buildings in one, a corner diagonal lot like the old school western buildings.

The light teal dining chairs at the 8 minute mark, are SO CUTE! They match the trim on the rug AND the pillow on the couch!! It works so well

Thought for a cool build: a flea market. Have it with different “booths” for different vendors, have tables and areas with different vibes and aesthetics that sell different things like clothes, books, bubble tea, etc

My house has a chimney and no fireplace. Its actually realistic for houses with boiler systems because the system needs an outside vent system. It'd not unrealistic.

Wait really? The only houses I’ve ever seen with chimneys and no fireplace is because they blocked up the old fireplace. I don’t know how boilers work but surely you could just do a little vent and don’t need a whole chimney?

@@rachelcookie321 my house was built in the 50s so I'm sure it has to do with the time period and construction designs of the time. I don't know about how exactly it all works but I was told I can't take the chimney out unless I change things about my heating system. Id have to put in central heating and air in order to take it out essentially.

Kayla, in the most lovingly way possible, you ovethink wayy to much over shape and color like 3 times, only about 7 mins into the video, you were like "is this good?" I said "that looks great" and you said "nah, I dont really like it" and I was just like, okay.... the fact the greens before looked good and then the blues looked good in the living room/kitchen area, and you were like "it doesn't look good!!!" like girl, it does 😂
