Honestly, I mixing wood tones makes more sense to me. I've been to very few houses in real life where people had matching wood tones in any of their rooms; usually, only in primary bedrooms if they bought a bedroom set. It's more common to purchase/acquire various items of furniture throughout your life, and they don't always match! That makes it more realistic and homey.

I feel like terrain manipulation really only works on really big lots where you can make a gradual slope from the outside of the lot to the inside. Even after they added terrain tools, the game is just so FLAT! They never add in big elevation changes in the world that spread into the lot so you have nothing to work off of!

Yes! Just adding to this, for absentee ballots, find an official ballot drop-off location instead of mailing it in if you're able, so you can know that it made it there in time to be counted- USPS has been bogged down. My township hall where regular voting happens has one!

I am a Canadian and in the past years we have been worried about our southern cousins. Especially when it comes to reproductive rights. As a Floridian it rarely gets colder than 50 degrees here (10 degrees Celsius) so 19 was very very nice and it only got that cold because of a cold front. Today the high was 27 Celsius 😭

Love this build! I know you said you don't like the cherry wood color, but I've always loved it, so that was right up my alley. Honestly, the house gives me strong 90's vibes. The rag rugs look like ones my grandma had, and the patterned rugs look like some of the blanket patterns we had back then. Also, my best friend from high school would have died for that master bedroom with the celestial wallpaper (celestial pattern stuff was really big for a while, and it was her absolute favorite thing)! I have to thank you Kayla for showing me how to raise an object on top of a table to the height of the other surface you would like the object raised to. Around 18:11. The fact that there are gaps with certain objects on certain surfaces drives me nuts. This has been life changing. I’ve been playing since The Sims and never thought to do this with bb.moveobjects. The lanterns look a lot like lumenarias, paper patterns th at are used around Christmas in places with a large Mexican-Catholic influence! If you visit Albuquerque in December, you can see them all over the city so it would be cool to use them in a southwestern holiday build!!

I've found that if you leave the terrain paint until the very last (after decorating the interior), that it doesn't get erased as often. There seems to be a connection between changing interior walls and the terrain paint deleting.
