I find it funny how NPCs yell at you for being inappropriate in their house but when they're in your Sim's house, they on the computer, up in your Sim's fridge, going into the master bathroom, swimming in the pool uninvited. Rules for thee but not for me, also applies to the Sims I guess.

It's the most annoying thing. They're constantly baking those stupid white cakes in my kitchens to the point where I have to enclose them and lock the doors, but the second I try to grab a quick meal from their fridge it's "this is inappropriate, please stop."

The way Simsie forgot that there are pies under the Baking skill as well. Lemon Meringue, Banana Bream, Cowplant Essence Merigue. I bet they sell for a lot. Baking skill is ALWAYS forgotten.

I had my sim make ambrosia and sell it for a 300% price increase. She was also a spellcaster so I could use the copypasto spell to make multiples for free. It sold pretty fast every time. It's a very specific get rich quick scheme but it did work lol

I own almost every pack because I’m lucky enough to be able to do that so every time I open the game and it gives me one of those I immediately assume that EA is just too stupid to check to see if the pack is already owned. It’s infuriating getting advertised for things I already own. AND it’s full screen. Give us the tiny popups like before and stop trying to sell me stuff I already know. If they refresh the packs it would be a different story

you always forget about lot traits during these challenges. The study spot lot trait from Discover University boosts all skill gain and then there is also one that boosts cooking skill gain that you could've used. They're really helpful, especially when you are playing in a tiny home.

Home Chef Hustle really is the one of the best ways to make money in the Sims, and it's such a fun pack too. My current legacy heir doesn't even have a job, he just bakes sweets and sells them every few days. I love bringing the stand around to different lots and seeing what ones get more of a turnout, what tends to sell the most. Coupled with the awesome build/buy items, Home Chef Hustle is easily my favorite stuff pack.

This pie rags to riches reminds me of the time when I recreated 2 broke girl$ in the Sims 4, their apartment, appearance, everything. I gave Max a collection of gnomes, and Caroline had her Murphy bed that once got her killed, but Max pleeded successfully 😅 they were also broke and could only make cupcakes which they then sold from a table during Finchwick fairs, while working at a diner during the week. I had so much fun with those two, and they actually got rich at the end ❤ but I had to make them siblings because they kept on flirting with each other autonomously, and that was not canon 🤪🤪

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Loved the video (I also love Home Chef Hustle). You need to put the pies (or whatever you're selling) inside the table to get the extra storage/days until spoilage. Just clear the table and if they go into your inventory, drag them back into the table. If you leave stuff on top, it spoils faster.

Fun tip: If you put the kitchen around the back of the market stall as close as it will go, then you can cook while you tend the table. It works with regular recipes like pie just like the pizza oven and waffle maker.

i believe that to keep food items from spoiling on the selling table (any of them), you need to clear the table after a sale. that puts them back into the table's inventory which acts like a fridge. time on the table during a sale will count towards spoiling, as well. in regards to aliens, you dont really need to meet an alien or use the telescope or be a scientist to get abducted. there's always a random chance of it happening; those other things just make it more likely to happen. i had a family i played where the grandfather (who was a ghost) got abducted twice without once touching a telescope or interacting with any random townies that could be aliens. he barely left the house at all, really. i mostly had him playing the organ in the attic XD then he went to take the trash out and next thing i know they were beaming him up lol. a couple days later, up he went again. it's kinda unfair how easy it was for him when i've had sims deliberately try to get abducted and it just doesnt happen. my main sim was a top rank scientist, he had several alien friends, i had him use the rocket ship constantly at work, he used the telescope every evening and i'd set the satellite to contact aliens every day, but i still ended up have to use MCCC to force an abduction after several weeks of nothing happening. and my ghost grandfather manages to get abducted the second week i played that family with no prompting from me. wtf game.
