You can become an interior designer when you graduate college but if you don’t, you’re an interior decorator. Start with getting rid of junk you don’t want and then move to the walls because they are baby steps that don’t hurt to try.

Although what she creates is beautiful this is not true interior design. This is interior decorating. Interior designers do so much more than just decorating the space. The create the space from beginning to end. They create floor plans and elevations, need to know building codes and how the space can effect someone's physical and psychological well being. They need to make sure nothing going into the building is harmful to the environment or the inhabitants. In the US it takes years of school at a CIDA accredited college or university where you spend 60+ hours a week in classes and working in projects. You also need to have internships in school and spend years working as a junior designer once you graduate to be eligible to take an extremely difficult test to certify you. Only then you can be an interior designer. It takes a lot of time and effort but is an extremely enjoyable process if you have the heart for it. Just make sure you do your research and know what your getting yourself into if you chose to pursue an interior design career. If you want to do what is shown on that channel there is no need to go to college because you can self teach a lot. If you want some formal education it wouldn't hurt to take some business entrepreneurship classes and color theory and material classes if you can find them. I hope you find joy in whatever career path you choose to follow, good luck :)
