The problem I have with Lily, as a critic anyway, is the fact that she constantly picks a hyper specific hill to die on. Anyone who disagrees with her or has a different opinion, she basically talks about as if they're either an idiot or an -ist or -phobe of some kind. Lily was on my radar years ago. I was on the fringe of her social circle, only ever heard about her from a friend who used to work with her/saw her posts when that friend reblogged them on tumblr, and knew a couple others in their group. I can thankfully say I never got close, since there was always tension around her and the people she surrounded herself with. I spoke to her exactly once because she was isolating that mutual friend from their group, to appeal on the mutual friend's behalf for the two of them to have a conversation about what they had fallen out over. Had a major abusive friend vibe back then, she was deliberately misrepresenting events that occurred within their friend group in an effort to isolate that friend and ruin their career. I'm sad to say I'm not surprised by anything new I hear about her. She always had this "I know more than you (and everyone else)" attitude that I never liked, and based on everything I heard about her from our mutual friend I figured it was just a matter of time before she was exposed for shady behavior, since every time somebody brought up even the slightest issue with her there was deflection, there was always a reason why it was the other person's fault and never hers, like she couldn't apologize or accept accountability for anything, and even if she did, it was always blatantly performative and never seemed at all genuine. Also, she was writing TV Tropes pages about her and her group of friends way before her following was large enough to warrant it. That always sat with me weirdly, like she was trying to make herself look more relevant and popular than she realistically was at the time it occurred, but in the grand scheme of things that's practically nothing, just something that clued me in to her character. I gotta say, I remember seeing her fake girlfriend years ago, and it's so weird seeing her again. There was always a weird vibe about her too. 'Tara' always typed and presented her thoughts and arguments way too similarly to Lily to pass as a real, separate person. Good to know I wasn't imagining that.

Apart from ragging on Steven Universe in what felt like every video of her's, she also made an analysis on Luz from The Owl House and believed that a reason why most fans don't like Luz the most out of all the characters was because of "White favoritism." It's not like that at least not for a majority of the fans that like the show. People don't choose characters like Amity over Luz because of their races, it's because Amity is more interesting. I always tried to defend Luz in the past but I see now that she was boring in season one. Lilly Orchid believed these other things. In a different video, she stated how Luz and Willow would've made just as good as a couple as Luz and Amity. No, they wouldn't have. Luz and Amity had great chemistry. One last thing I remember her saying in that Luz analysis video was that she claimed that people forgave Lilith because she was "White and pretty." At the time of that video's release, I recall that she was still a hated character. Most fans didn't forgive her yet. I saw someone on this app called Amino who still liked her after "Agony of a witch." But it wasn't because of her race or because she looked beautiful. Maybe Lilly saw someone who did feel that way but that sure wasn't a norm for the way people viewed and talked about Lilith.

Even some autistic people couldnt get dianosis in some cases, because they dont fit in the autistic mold or they dont show enough symptoms etc. Girls are more likely to not get diagnosed for example since they mask their symptoms while boys are stereotyped as “hyperactive children”. Before I even make it through this video, I will say I did sit through her 6 hour Pokemon retrospective (I'm that much of a Pokemon fan I actually sat through it without speed-up). And I will say, I think she is very hit or miss. A lot of the points I can 100% agree with her on but she only really covers one game within a generation, not the entire generation. Like for example, she only covers PLatinum when talking about Gen 4 despite it having Diamond, Pearl, Heartgold, AND Soulsilver to go over, or completely missing out on Black and White 2 in Gen 5 despite them being actual direct sequel games, completely ignores the DLC from Sword/Shield and Scarlet/Violet. It overall felt a bit incomplete because these games do effect how a generation is as a whole

Minor thing to address. Josh is wrong in you can't physically server 5 years as active duty in the military. It's as simple as putting in a 1308 extension requesting additional years with your current contract up to 3 years extended iirc. My contract was originally gonna be 5 years with those extensions, but I decided to re-enlist instead.
