not gonna lie, I was a bit sus about how it looked up close, the box looks bad and the earrings looked "interesting"/quality...but now you made me look up the OG packaging and you're correct...it does come with a white ribbon, both box and bag. Also little card booklet and authentic product card. For her "First" chanel, having all of the OG packaging would have been an extra special feeling.

@ I have a large collection of Chanel including both fashion and fine jewelry. Chanel earrings like these though are fashion jewelry meaning costume jewelry, not actual gold or diamonds. Cost is around $1000. However, even their fashion jewelry comes in beautiful signature packaging with white camelia flower, ribbon, and shopping bag. NEVER just a black box with a sticker on front in a plain brown box. It was disappointing Chris highlighted this episode around the Chanel earrings and made such a fuss when they were so obviously fake. Maybe content is getting harder to find? One of the draws of this channel is realism…the episode would have been perfectly interesting with the girls and parents opening their simple but thoughtful gifts…without making a fuss about the “Chanel” earrings and portraying them as real. Hope Chris and Lily keep being genuine and real…that’s the appeal of this channel and why I’ve been a subbie for many years.
