Sublimation and DTF are totally different ways to add graphics to garments. I have a machine of each but not needed together.

I did pull the trigger and purchased this printer with oven, I will admit, I was soooo hesitant, not only because of how much money this is, but how many negative reviews it has because of the white ink clogging issues. Despite of that I decided to purchase it, took me three weeks to set it up because I was so intimidated by it, finally unboxed it set it up, all was pretty simple if you are computer savvy it helps. I have been using it, it does require a lot of maintenance to avoid clogging issues, which in turn you would need to spend on replacement parts that are not cheap. There really isn’t any clear videos on daily maintenance (day or nightly after use) which is a bummer, because the videos that Procolored provides are not that clear, use a different model printer and aren’t very specific. I honestly don’t need to use it everyday, although I still feel like I have to print something and go thru all the cleaning just to avoid clogging. Then you have to figure out what settings work for you to cure your prints, what settings work with the heat press you have. The settings they provide are so broad, and not specific to the material you may be using the DTf for. Their inks and film are very costly, so you might need to venture to other brands and see what works that is less expensive, however, if it’s for business and you are all set up, then it will pay itself. Hope all this info helps you….i feel there are too many paid KZbinrs that get this machine for free so it’s difficult to trust their opinions, because they are trying to sell the product in return
