Lethal Lima, Plt 3101, Lead series and honor platoon, August 21st 1997 MCRD SD. I remember every single moment, voice, cry, fear, pain, smell, taste of chow and every single feeling of accomplishment as if it all happened yesterday. 25 years later and I haven't forgot one single thing about it. It was truly the best time of my life and an experience I hope to never forget. For many it was torture and hell, but for me, I enjoyed every single bit of bootcamp and even at 45 years old today, I wish I could go back and do it all over again - my body, bones and joints say another thing however.
