Lima FP45 Jumps to the Front of the Repair Queue

I received after a long wait a Lima FP45 in VIA Rail Canada livery, only to discover one of its couplers was broken. What's more, the axles had anything but a wonderful surprise for me!

It's very possible. The seller had told me this and other locomotives he acquired from the individual were in rough shape.
