I purchased a new bow after my 1990 Jennings carbon extreme gave up. The limb pockets were worn out allowing the limbs to move side to side.

I have a 2007 Diamond Triumph that is very accurate. I do have string silencers on my string. And I just bought a string stop, but haven't installed it yet. I might do a video doing a comparison. And let my viewers tell me which way is quieter. Because my hearing is pretty bad. Lol. Now you have me curious. Thank you.

The Mathews Legacy was the first new bow I ever bought for myself, I'm still shooting the Mathews Outback I sold it for lol. They really were great bows

I'm just getting into bow hunting and picked up a Mathews outback from a friend who's dad bought it new. I love this bow! I've shot a couple new flagships, but I prefer this old outback.

I have been looking into whether they are supposed to touch or not touch as my new Hoyt carbon RX7 came in and it has about 3/4"-1" gap between the string and the stop, but all my other bows (that have it) are touching the string other than little aimdor a10 which has the same gap as the Hoyt and is a very surprising bow right out of the box also for a cheap amazon bow.

Very surprised. I shoot a Mathews Derenalin with a string stop I install years after purchasing it. I am thinking about removing it now.

I love that bow I just had to give it up because of draw was 27' in I'm a 29"and it was hurting my shoulder. Because of the draw length was so short I could never feel at ease. Changing the cams was going to be very expensive that was the only way to change the draw length..

Before watching this video, I installed one on mine and it seemed louder. The string buzzes against the sting stop.

I know what you're saying, and if the package said that it must be used with a stabilizer for maximum results then I would entertain the idea. But when it says that it quiets string noise and it obviously does the opposite I stop right there and call BS.

Good video bit I can't financially support gopro, they actively try to take away my 2A rights. I will never buy another accessory for this camera and will replace this one when I find a good enough replacement.
