[Limbus Company] Cinq Sinclair MD3H Solo

I love double damage!
I recorded this run a day before Canto 5.5's release, just so you know. That's why I didn't upgraded Clear Water, because it was bugged.
Anyway, Cinqlair is pretty cool. He's not Nclair, but a very good pierce substitute. Even without the double damaging shenanigans I was doing this run, he still deals a lot of damage. His skill 2 should not roll as high as it does...
Managed to get this out before New Year's Eve, so good thing I'm on schedule lmao.

19:07 The old bug was, after Fairy is broken, Body spawns with unbuffed health value, but buffed Max HP, thus making it falls below the Stagger Threshold. Maybe since Sinclair got Charmed, and Fairy regenerated, so you lost, since I assume you're supposed to lose, when in the Fairy phase and all your alive Sinners Charmed. There are also oddity with the Charmed status effect itself, it would seems Charmed Sinners aren't "yours", similar to Sinners kidnapped by Dongbaek and Dongrang, they don't gain slots. Fairy phase works fine since it has Unclashable attacks, but since Body phase doesn't, you can Clash with the Charmed "attacks". The first attemp Sinclair killed the Fairy at turn 1, Scarlet Moth staggered Body next turn since it was below Stagger Threshold, Sinclair delt damage, got Charmed, and next turn Fae Lantern was going to recover from stagger and regenerate Fairy. The winning attempt you didn't kill the Fairy at turn 1, instead turn 2, then as Sinclair is Charmed, he hit the Body with 0 damage, which should've been below the Stagger Threshold, staggered it, then the Charm got resolved, and Body stayed because it was staggered, killed Fairy before the turn even started, so it didn't trigger the Charmed mechanic I suppose.

Well he is a lot easier to use compared to Nclair; conditions are easy to meet and he's also a positive SP IDs. I would use him over Nclair in general content like MD and story stages and Nclair for stuff like railway and speed-clearing stages.

Don't make me regret not getting another poise id in favor of Fluid Sac for Faust and Pequod Heath. I didn't got Pirate Greg, and now Cinqlair. And I am a poise addict. Like, I didn't uptied only KK Rodya, Mariachi Sinclair (I won't ever uptie him) and Pirate Greg with Cinqlair cuz I can't uptie ids I don't have. Like, I even uptied BL Outis to 4. I uptied Shi Don. But can't get the 2 new poise ids. Don't make me regret my limbus box choices.

I am so getting this guy. I was kind of waiting to dispense stuff so I could pull on Walpurgis, use the rest to get S3 stuff (and wait for more from the guaranteed 3-star tickets), and dispense whatever I missed (don’t know what other seasonal stuff we’ll get, most of it has been general), but I can splurge for this. I don’t have the starter buffs, but this looks pretty crazy, even compared to Nclair. I loved Nclair when I first got him, but my opinion has kind of soured; he’s a huge PITA because as a minus-coin he can never hit max flip rate like other IDs, managing his SP is a pain since all kinds of things can adjust it in ways you don’t want (hard to get really low without risking corrosion), and using any EGOs if you get a bad skill set is an instant corrode. Cinqlair should be way easier to deal with.

what do you think of a run using the new don with the same starting ego gift strategy? assuming shes resistant to blunt she could probably get the same floor 1 boss as this run and then spam blocks from turn 2 onwards until she gets enough skill slots, since she'll be resistant and just heal back all the damage from the remaining block hp since all enemies have rupture. theres also a very good chance that her skill 3 might be able to 1 shot the fairy wine goons

I did like 10 MDs a day for 3 days, each run took around 20-25 minutes. Also I ended this run at BP level ~450, now I have 550...

Wait the ORDER you get EGO gifts affects the proc conditions??? So the EGO gift that lowers the enemy offense level if they have rupture would only synergize with barbed snare if you got barbed snare first or something????

The main nodes didn't take that long, around 5-7 hours with optimal team cycling. The secondary/mini nodes take a whole lot more, I think I did around 10 hours worth of grinding just to unlock the ones I have in this video.

The faelantern fight is such a weird fight it has alot bugs or wrird mechanic on solo runs but i found that it is all connrcted to the fairy mechanic making it every 3th turn you get possesed and if you dont break fairy or hit it next turn fight is basiclly over cus i guess spagetti code or some savety net for bugs but still remembers the progress like hp resources i had this happen to me on my mariachi solo run and i had to manage my dmg and was saved by sinking and rupture dmg to break out of the possesion ngl whole fight is weird for solos and gl with no dmg nor clashing power

I believe you might be confusing the rarity. Since higher rarity gifts cost more and the prices might be different because Smis has the primary that reduces enhancement costs.

I have to say I'm disappointed with the loss of the 'remove stagger bar' upgrade. I get you don't really need it in standard team content now, but it wouldn't kill them to put a sideline of solo-only buffs in.
