Limbus Company Is VERY Free-To-Play Friendly

Limbus Company is pretty F2P friendly. Generous with the gacha currency, being able to grind for characters you couldn't roll and a solid base roster means you don't have to spend a cent to have fun.

I mean the only problem that I personally had was how tedious it was to farm Mirror Dungeon. They could've just made it like Papa Bongy you know, where you know, only have to went down to 2 floor max. I get it if it was supposed to be harder end game content like Railway, BUT IT WAS THE FARMABLE CONTENT AND EACH RUN TAKES 30+ MINUTES OF PUSHING WIN RATE -> PLAY -> CLOUD CUTTER, QUICK SUPPRESSION AND SOMEHOW ISHMAEL MIND WHIP STAGGER FAUST

firstly, do NOT run R corp Ishmael if you plan to play WinRate. (same can be said for W corp don to a lesser degree) second, yeah i do have a minor complaint at how long it takes to grind mirror dungeon, but if you grind passsively (like, once a day) you get 3 drops of pretty hefty rewards and then 7 bp xp for any run past that 3, which is... ok for free players since ftp gets 1 yellow shard box per tier, but with the battlepass you get 3. Also, try to make your mirror dungeon runs more interesting by saying "ooo i'll go for this build!" and the like. Besides, no way this would be "harder content" currently considering you straight up can just press WinRate and win Finally, in just over 2 weeks MD is going to get a big update for both variety, and more MD tiers, as well as yet another boost to MD rewards; MD#1 will give more BP xp but no shard boxes directly MD#2 will give 50 bpxp with the weekly boost, and *30* without. MD#2(H) will give 75 bpxp with the weekly boost, which is insane, and 50 without (up to 3 times) hopefully the MD update will help with your gripes

I read somewhere that Limbussin is basically a single player game with gacha as an extra, and i agree to that. Its more of a continuation for LoR sprinkled with gacha element, not the otherwise. The rarity is pretty insignificant. You want their synergy, not rarity (good luck bringing full blunt team for 3-22). (Don where the fuck are you i don't have a single identity of her wtf)

There’s also no fear of losing anything. Everything ends up in the dispenser sooner or later! Edit: also you can earn plenty of shards from the pass as a F2P too.

But from a purely gameplay perspective you can and eventually get everything for free, not to mention the support system that allows you take a unit for a trial which allows you to test a unit out for you to decide to grind for them or not.

the timing of this video couldn't be more hilarious... with Canto IV coming soon bringing things like the Ideality Guaranteed, which for those who don't know... right now the "Rate up" banners are not really rate ups, the banners separate each tier of pull (0, 00, 000, E.G.O.) in 50% chance to pull a featured "thing", and 50% to pull something not in the banner, but you still have the same chances to get a 000 as if it wasn't in banner... Also there is technically no Pity system, you can theoretically pull to infinity and never get something from the banners, it would be extremely unlucky but it can happen... (tho, if you pull to infinity, you can get infinite shards for any character and buy it from the dispense at that point) Well... with the update thats coming midweek, a sistem will be added to the banners were by pulling them you will gain Yisang (or... Ideality :b ) for the specific banner you pulled (it's not shared) if you reach a ceratin quantity of Ideality, then you can forcefully pull something you want from the banner and if you DON'T get enoght ideality and the banner closes, the Ideality from that banner will transform into thread, the currency you use to "ascend" the Identitys and EGOs, so, you always win The quantities of Ideality you'll need are yet to be seen, the update anouncement showed 200 ideality for a banner but I don't think it means 200 pulls of the banner, it's very hard to pull more than 80 (singles), so 200 would be kind of nuts also, I don't know if when you reach the target Ideality you can choose what you want, if not, then it's okay... if you can... then start pulling in character specific banners instead of anything else because thats broken as fuck

The game didn't have a traditional pity system originally because it's EXTREMELY generous with crates, which let you get multiple guaranteed units per season. In a way, the game is more generous to F2P players than whales since it's far more efficient to put more time into grinding crates than dumping money into gachas. I suppose people are just used to a very different model of pity which is based around doing lots of rolls, while rolls are almost a bonus thing to do for fun in this game to supplement your shards.

Nobody explains the real reason why this gacha game would be worth playing, everyone just says "omg go play, it's so f2p friendly" which could mean a million things... People are saying all kinds of terrible drop rate gacha systems are f2p friendly lol.

One question that still needs to be adressed: Can you grind for ALL of the ID's in the game as a f2p?

Yes except a few exclusive IDs released during an event called walpurgisnacht . You are able to grind for Walpurgisnacht IDs from previous Walpurgisnact Only during the event which is Quarterly .( You can save resources for the event) Any new IDs from the current walpurgisnacht must be pulled worst case you Wait three months to get them or save all your rolls for Walpurgisnacht and hit pity(You are always given enough resources for 200 rolls in 3 months ) and just shard everything else

Basically yes, given enough time has passed for most 'regular' released IDs and as been mentioned, some time-sensitive IDs can only be bought at certain times. But you can ALWAYS grind for them while waiting on them to be available, as they still use the same currency.
