The only complaint I find with him is the comparatively low max roll on his S2, 14. But when you remember that with conditionals, it rolls 20 plus clash power buffs, then has max of 4 attack weight and damage up, plus a unique debuff on hit, a base-max of 14 is a small price to pay.

for the people who wanna optimize or be braindead with the king what i found out so far into playing with the king himself is that you'd wanna hop onto dullahan form as soon as possible, then use skill 2's to get more dullahan stacks. once at the 3 stacks OR you are at 0-5 sp (you can go lower if you want), you immediately proc the skill 4(or skill 3-1) by using the counter or using the skill 3 you've saved to get back into horseless form repeat and you "might" deal 400+ damage edit: you actually get dullahan stacks at turn end while on the horse, so just use skill 2's to reduce the sp instead and have a higher chance to roll tails

You have to be above 15 SP to turn the counter into S4, that said, if you're winning clashes, the requirement shouldn't be a problem.

Want a more brain-dead approach? If you are going solo or have more slots available, use counter + Binds to get SP down. You can spam Lament as much as you want if you have all slots filled with it, but if you are missing a slot for one, you can fill it with a counter skill and go for the nearest clash, if the boss has not been staggered yet. Literally adds more S4s into the mix. You can use the initial counter to lower his SP and then they just stack so he has lower chances of rolling heads.

If you're lucky enough to have 1 or 2 skill 3-1s by turn 2, and have atleast 1 stack of dullahan, that's an instant 4-8 Coffin (8 if both S3-1s kill)

When in MD get the 'Rags' Tier 1 E.G.O Gift which when using a minus coin skill at >= -15 SP it will reduce the SP to -15 and also buff the damage the more SP reduced. So your S4 gain super benefit of rolling tail and then heal the SP back to 45 LOL

Yeah, just tested it and it makes his sanity always at -30 when using S4 which makes it really consistent and you instantly get the sanity back due to the skill's effect

@@fincrocs It's just random. The new ones include both characters blocking for ties, sometimes you evade when you win a coin, sometimes you block, other times they get into a bind, its really cool and explains why every ID has dodge/guard sprites even if they don't have guards/evades.

One thing I've been doing since I got him was having a 5 character team instead of 6 characters so he can get an extra attack in every turn. This means that he ramps up twice as fast and gets twice the benefits for ramping up. Whatever attack his attack replaces is probably worse. Depending on the fight, it may just straight up be better to solo or duo with him if you can make it a few turns in without him dying. It also helps that, if you time it right, the dullahan is just straight up a free instant stagger restore. I forgot to mention. What I'm talking about is OUTSIDE of MD with all the sinking gifts going. He'd only be more ridiculous with the gifts running.

Ring yi is kind of more easy to use compare to wild cliff with his bleed team and also he could recover fast after tail 2 continuos sunshower with heal sp on hit While wild cliff is like dawn and N clair combine mechanic his s3 is strong but it a minus coin skill require sp maintain a a good amount not too high nor low cause skill 1 2 is plus coin which require skill also his counter just straight broken being a defensive skill so all those higher offense thing cant affect it and enemy forced to clash it with raw clash power so if wild hc goes as a team it could be situational like after 2 3 turn on dullahan and you see he got like 20sp then counter to un mount save his original skill 3 for clash to heal otherwhile he high risk high reward type like N and dawn clair

Update: His clashes just push them back like when you use an EGO skill at a range. At when you clash now sometimes you see their dodging sprite even when they have a Dodge defense skill. RIP Vergilius speedblitz clashing 💔

The way the W Corp singularity works is that it fully resets you to how you were before the train departed. There is no biological process in it, it's like a save point. The reason the passengers flat out disappearing is that there was nothing left _to_ reset.

Erlking is kinda underwhelming in my opinion because his conditionals need a full sinking team and I am a hybrid enjoyer, I guess I will stick to my tremor, burn and charge, he has no place in my teams, he is worse than Multicrack Heath in long battles and worse than Rabbit in short ones without his boring sinking pals that I will never use

eh depends. he feels more like a weird phillipclair. his rolls are average but his damage is kind of insane (that's what having more than 100% damage up in your kit does to you i guess), even rolling both heads on s4, he can easily still reach 100-150 damage. also his sp is way way more volatile than phillip clair since everything he does literally loses and gains sp. he doesnt need too much for his conditionals, but otherwise he's fine in a solo setup. even without conditionals he's still rolling 14-16 on s1/s2 which is average. (16-20 i think??? with conditionals)

Honestly? Heavily disagree. Wild Hunt Heathcliff has all but trivialized the 6-48 solo, with the main thing that gated most IDs on that being the damage required to melt down the boss before he used the big attack in his phase 3, and he manages to do it with moves to spare a lot of the time and _without_ having to pray for good EGO corrosions most IDs relied on for it, he doesn't even have to use _any_ EGO. Even disregarding the slight buffs he gets from the unique passive on that stage, that's still an _insane_ amount of damage, even rolling poorly on his S4 coins. He really doesn't need the conditionals to pump out big damage if that's what you're looking for. Also, _on demand_ stagger recovery.
